Subscribe to Instagram: Natalie Crockett and her "remakes" of advertising

Stylist and journalist Natalie Crocket is not the biggest Instagram fan, but it was through him that she decided to broadcast her new project. For "Spoof" she removes herself as models of famous advertising campaigns: Mariakarla Boskono, Penelope Cruz, Natalia Vodianova and others. Some photos are so professional that at first glance it is not clear which of the photographs is primary. The name of the series makes it clear that this is a parodic project, and indeed the author’s irony is hard not to notice: for the viewer accustomed to the perfect appearance of the models, portraits from Croquet look strange, but they are much better remembered. In addition, Croquet looks its age, and does not tend to be forever young and skinny, so Spoof pushes reflections on how strongly modern gloss tends to hide everything that is considered to be “flaws” and whether it is time to start treating it's easier and more ironic.
