This week, our heroine, Instrument Development Manager Cecilia Doan from Portland, spoke about the duality of her nature, the collection of Nike sneakers and the finds in stores in Asia and New York.

I love this hat because it reminds me of a baseball cap, and besides it is cozy in it - the hat is made of warm fleece wool. T-shirt of the New York street brand March, which is based in Brooklyn. I once did a shooting for them, after which this T-shirt remained: I cut it off under the crop top and wear it with high-waisted things. The skirt is also my doing. Previously, it was unsightly vintage dress. I gave it to the studio, and for $ 20 they made me a skirt of it. I bought a clutch while traveling in Japan. It is made in the form of a bunch of dynamite. Were even with a cat, lips and in the form of a burger - Undercover is all right with a sense of humor.

I found this trench in a discount store, and it became one of the favorite things in my wardrobe. Sometimes I wear it like a dress, buttoning all the buttons, sometimes like a jacket, throwing it over the top. I wore it with a T-shirt of the Brazilian national football team, which for me will always be a world champion. White and minimalistic tennis sneakers are from the new Nike collaboration.

I bought this jacket with double sleeves again in Japan in second-hand RAGTAG in the Shibuya region in Tokyo. It looks like a classic leather jacket, but it can be worn with either two sleeves or four. This is quite a tricky moment, but very interesting. Slippers Nike Free Sock Racers are made of thin neoprene, which fits the foot, and resemble socks. They are surprisingly comfortable - it’s like walking in the clouds.

Looking at this Junya Watanabe suede fringed top, animal print trousers and vintage leather loafers, it becomes clear that two different people live inside of me. This duality is especially evident when it comes to style. So, half the time I look like a typical city dweller from western Downtown in Portland: leather shoes, boats, black clothes — all pretty minimalistic. The second half loves me bohemian things, eclecticism, flowered dresses and worn out shoes, mix prints, textures and incompatible cut. This part of me lives where my house is located - in the eastern, relaxed part of Portland.

I grew up surrounded by three brothers, with whom we played a lot of football, basketball and other sports. Although I grew up a long time ago, things related to my childhood undoubtedly influenced my style and perception of the world. I like to wear men's clothes, especially sportswear, but I always mix it with something feminine. A pair of black boats - and already less sporty and more downtown style. I rarely wear things with bright prints or drawings, although I love all this very much, but sometimes I have zadrot, an art historian. This print reminds me of the golden monograms of the Rococo era. Usually it looks excessive, but in this case - pretty.

Kapital is a Japanese brand that is well-suited for casual American-style casual wear, and that’s probably why their stuff can often be found on the streets of Los Angeles. The top is made in the Japanese patchwork technique Boro, when clothes are sewn from patches or torn places are dug in a special way by hand. It turns out things stitched from patches and weave threads. The technique of boro is very much appreciated, as it is a high-quality handmade work of masters, whose skills are passed down from generation to generation. Hundreds of years ago, Tokyo artisans made kimono and obi using boro techniques. A similar story with the brand Visvim. They also work with complex materials and parts. Produce collections of limited sneakers. This pair, embellished with fringe, is made of suede and fits perfectly on my legs. It seems to me that the French brand Isabel Marant is also close to Japanese culture in its aesthetics, so I think all things fit together perfectly!

This indigo striped cape was found in an ancient shop in Osaka. This fabric is about a hundred years old, but it is still in excellent condition and, I think, will withstand more than one century. I carry it with my favorite shopping bag from RTH LA store. Jeans are classic Levi's 501, they were customized for me in Denim Refinery. I like to wear these things with something girly, for example, with a pair of shoes with Nicholas Kirkwood's heels.

In this outfit, I feel like a rock star. I'm a little obsessed with overalls, so when I found this one from the New York brand OAK, I bought it without thinking for a long time. This is one of the coziest things in my wardrobe. Socks with sandals are too much of a trend right now, of course, but these slippers are from the F.C.R.B collection. and Nike Benassi Solarsoft super-easy. I can wear them all day. I found a fake Chanel iPhone case in Hong Kong. I always lose my phone while traveling, but when I saw such a case on dozens of girls in Hong Kong, I realized that I need the same one. I found it at the Ladie's Market flea market and immediately bought myself a few pieces. Half of them, however, have already broken, since they were made somewhere on the knee.

This is absolutely crazy shoes. In the pictures of Silence's advertising campaign, she bears Joan Smalls on her shoulders; she is wearing these shoes with a white lace dress that looks like my black Isabel Marant. In this outfit, I look like Ryden, the character of "Mortal Kombat", who wore a hat, spewed lightning and teleported. Hats furusawa masakazu hard to find outside of Japan, so I knew in advance that without this hat I will not leave.

I collect sneakers for as long as I can remember. But once made a big mistake and decided to throw half the collection. I regret it so far, especially about one pair of "Jordans". Now I am collecting the collection again, and my boyfriend is helping me in many ways. Recently we went to the mall for a pair of snow-white Nike Air Force 1 Mid. It was rather nostalgic: you are standing among the sneakers on the shelves of a local shopping mall to find brand new “fors”.

Many of these couples have already become classics of my wardrobe. My favorite shoe designer is definitely Dries Van Notein. Materials, design and design - everything is made with taste and high quality. I have been collecting his shoes since the age of 19, and I think I will wear it until old age. I also love this pair of Balenciaga shoes and wear them all the time, as they are very comfortable. What can not be said about a pair of YSL sandals - I wander in them, and therefore rarely wear them, they are just for beauty.

I bought this wallet in a souvenir shop in the Orsay Museum in Paris. It is made by one of the respected Japanese companies producing office supplies. It seems to me that soon I will bring him to the holes, but he is still my favorite. A trinket on the keys with the inscription "Trillskies" made my girlfriend Tina. The inscription refers to hip-hop and the words "true" and "real". Glasses are a gift from a friend of mine who works at TOMS. The Instax camera is my favorite: I like to take it with me to parties and give Polaroids to friends.
