Today we’ll talk about Kendall Jenner, who made her debut at Marc Jacobs and Giles shows this season and wrote a book about girlfriends with supernormal abilities.
When Kendall Jenner was 11 years old, she became part of the reality show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" - a naturalistic sketch of the life of the Kardashian-Jenner clan. At first, Kendall and her blood sister Kylie (who was then eight) did not even appear on his billboards - the show was completely focused on their older half-sisters. Over time, "Keeping up" began to cover the full range of family values and affected all family members - but even at this moment Kendall did not share the details of his personal life, preferring silence and providing a platform for sayings to older sisters. After she turned 18, she decided to move to her own house, away from the mansion, where most of the show’s action takes place.
However, to say that Kendall is not looking for fame, it is impossible - she gladly gives interviews and removed for magazines, however, always insistently noting that she is not Kardashian, but Jenner. Indeed, Kendall cannot be compared with the typical Californian it-girls Kardashian - there is a little more sophistication in the spirit of Alexa Chang in her, if the latter were an American. Despite the deliberate modesty, Kendall and her sister Kylie are well aware that their life is as close to ideal as possible and nod in agreement when asked directly by Oprah Winfrey. In the US, the sisters have long been someone like Miley Cyrus during Disney: they appeared on covers and cover stories of Seventeen, Miss Vogue and Teen Vogue, were interviewed wherever they could, wrote a book and started designing. The Kendall & Kylie clothing line for the PacSun youth brand is, of course, difficult to call a masterpiece of the industry: short dresses, tops, high-waisted shorts in the spirit of Coachella are at best more oriented to the mass market, and at worst a typical collection that any toggle switch or resident of brooklyn. After the clothes, the sisters began a triumphant trip to the department of accessories and footwear: they created bags and shoes for the daughter brand Steve Madden - Madden Girl. But the most unexpected twist is the fantastic novel “Rebels: City of Indra” written by them that will be released in June. She tells about the life of two girls with superpower. The sisters believe that this is an "exciting dark story," and even here they correctly perceived the intonation of time - feminism mixed with anxiety for the future.
And suddenly this season Kendall begins to appear everywhere, abruptly moving from the category of successful teenagers to the class of it-girls. For a start, she debuts at the Marc Jacobs show - and the world media for several days discussing her bare breasts. He makes friends with the models Jordann Dunn and Cara Delevingne. He meets with One Direction band member Harry Style (we condemn this alliance, but you can't command the heart), and as a result, Jenner sits in the front row with Anna Wintour and Kate Moss on Topshop Unique. Jenner's last exits are on Chanel and Givenchy, and Ricardo Tisci called her "one of the G girls".
Despite the fact that her breakthrough took many by surprise, Kendall went to him for years - her intention to become a model is completely unfashionable and in its own way sweet, as if from the beginning of the 90s.
