To whom to subscribe: Artist, dancer and just the god IMMA

Jerrod Kentrell is a London based performance artist who performs under the pseudonym IMMA. As the artist himself says, IMMA is a mix of childhood memories of women, among whom he grew up and whose culture he absorbed: from his relatives to Tina Turner and the heroines of 80s soap operas. Recently, the artist started a new instagram @its_me_imma. There, he most often appears in the image of IMMA, and what about his selfie, what is the backstage of numerous filming with him is equally interesting to watch. By the way, his last known work is the clip "Good to Love" with FKA twigs.
Kentrell did not immediately come to the performance, and not even immediately to the dance. At first, he was engaged in gymnastics, whose teacher invited him to try the Alvin Ailey Theater. It didn't work out right away: first, he and his teacher's brother won a dance competition, then learned performance in Atlanta, then he entered the Conservatory in Connecticut, rushed to Holland, but almost immediately received an invitation to Atlanta Ballet. Three years later, Kentrell was more interested in working with the voice, so he left the ballet and entered Parsons and Central Saint Martins. In general, Kentrell has slowly gained the experience necessary for drag performance - he is, as you might guess, especially interested in the grotesque.
