About care
I have normal skin prone to dryness, so moisturizing is most important to me. Not all means help to get rid of the feeling of tightness, especially during the heating season. Now my evening facial looks like this: I begin, of course, with cleansing. I prefer Japanese products, especially hydrophilic oils: they dry the skin less and dissolve persistent makeup perfectly. Then - tonic. Previously, I underestimated such funds, but when I finally forked out a good toner, I realized that now without it in any way. For now, my favorite is the exfoliating Clinique from the famous three-step system: the skin's relief has become noticeably smoother. After using the five percent lactic acid The Ordinary. For me, this is a new, but already truly favorite remedy: it turns out that acid can perfectly moisturize. After waiting a few minutes, I fix the result with a cream: I have several favorites, but perhaps the very best is Embryolisse; I also take him to work.
I pay special attention to the area around the eyes: I have active facial expressions and I worry that wrinkles will appear quickly without proper care - now I use Derma E cream with a lifting effect. Everything is simpler in body care: scrub once a week and cream after a shower - otherwise the skin dries strongly from hard water. My main discovery is Palmer's maternity brand, which makes cosmetics based on cocoa butter; It perfectly moisturizes and smells great.
About well-being
I love to sleep - it is both good and bad, because whenever possible I prefer rest, not work. True, even if the strength is only to collapse on the bed, I always wash off the makeup - if not with oil, then with Bioré napkins. I keep them on the bedside table: one piece is enough to clean the entire face. The cream can then not be applied: the skin and so remains moisturized. High-quality rest has a good effect on psychological health: traveling, relaxing at home, pleasant company - all this unloads the head from obsessive thoughts.
Suppose I am not particularly athletic, but I like the gym: in my opinion, it is “iron” that most effectively keeps the body in shape. Sometimes I swim in the pool and go to the hammam. I recommend massage to all make-up artists: the body gets tired and from a heavy case and from an uncomfortable position - there are not always high chairs for models on the working platform, so back and neck hurt. The main thing is to find your specialist. In this procedure, it is important that you are not just smeared with fragrant oil to soft music, and your muscles are kneaded, which is not always pleasant. But then you fly like a bird.
About make-up
For the past few years I have been wearing minimal makeup, although in my school and student years I could have had no problems with black smocks during the day. I think the whole point is that make-up has become my profession: I have enough experiments on the faces of models and clients. Over time, makeup artists begin to treat cosmetics differently and primarily value texture and color. And the exercises begin, as in the song "Agatha Christie": "Make up your eyelashes with lipstick, and your lips with hairspray." This also applies to my style: I often use a bronzer and a highlighter for eye makeup, and lipstick as a blush. This approach saves time.
I love light tonal means, invisible on the face. For me it is important that the eyebrows are neatly decorated and slightly tinted - otherwise they are much lighter than the hair. For eye makeup, I usually choose cool colors and simple patterns: usually this is either a couple of shades of shadows, or a small feathered arrow. For lips, I often use very light lipsticks, which are popularly called "corpse": they really suit me.
