Inna Burukhina, Avos'ka Vintage store co-owner about favorite outfits

FOR RUBBER "WARDROBE" we take pictures of beautiful, original or strangely dressed people in their favorite things and ask them to tell stories related to them. This week, our heroine is Inna Burukhina, co-owner of the Avos'ka Vintage store.

As a child who grew up almost independently, I experienced a huge number of camps and various courtyard companies, and of course, I was influenced by fashionable and musical parties. I skated in hip-hop blue sweatpants, survived a period of emo, alternative culture and even the glamor of the 2000s. Looked appropriate. But most of all my style has changed British education. I graduated from London College of Fashion, where I was surrounded by a huge number of creative people who had no limits on self-expression in clothes. When you are in such a free society, you yourself stop believing that there are any rules. It seems to me that fashion is about freedom, or at least about rebellion.

I am a person of mood, so I prefer to keep a voluminous wardrobe: it is important for me that it has clothes for any occasion and internal state. Perhaps that is why I have almost no luxury - except for a few branded pairs of shoes and bags that I have been wearing for several years and I dream that they will be on sale again. I buy the base at Zara, and the super-high-end items that quickly go out of fashion are at ASOS. After returning to Moscow, I began working with domestic brands and imbued with respect for contemporary Russian designers. They gave me something, bought something myself, but the wardrobe was significantly enlarged with Cyrillic brands on the label.

All outerwear and shirts are vintage. I trust him more than the mass market: the materials from which things are sewn have already been tested for many years, and unusual details that are not used now make the models special. In general, with vintage I have a very reverent relationship over the past ten years. It all happened during my last trip to London, when I was on Brick Lane, a street that turns into a huge flea market every weekend. At that time I didn’t really think about what they sell there, but I was fascinated by the process of finding and choosing unique things for a penny. Later, I began to go to vintage stores and travel secondaries, and a couple of years ago I began to make lists of such places specially before each trip. When everything became serious, and vintage things occupied exactly half of the closet, the idea appeared to share the finds with others. Together with like-minded and affiliate Anna, we united and thought that it was time to open a vintage store - this is how Avoska appeared.

The value of the vintage is limitless. I believe that every thing is waiting for its owner, its finest hour. I admire the quality and durability of fabrics and materials from which they used to sew clothes. I like the idea that these models will not cease to be relevant even after a couple of decades, and that each of them has a story. Fashion is cyclical, so now we are again in pursuit of what the idols of our youth have worn. Everything new is well forgotten old: it is not necessary to spend money on Balenciaga and the last drop of the sports retailer in order to buy an oversize jacket and hip hoops on rivets. It is for such things that we hunt all over Europe to bring them to the "Avoska" and show that vintage can look modern.

Vintage mac and pants, Zara t-shirt, Urban Outfitters belt, Common Projects sneakers, flea market glasses

I know one tiny weekend market in a residential area of Berlin, where you can buy glasses in any frame. A couple of weeks ago I found this couple there, now I do not rent

Despite the abundance of leather items in vintage stores, it is very difficult to find a comfortable thing that will look relevant. These banana pants are made of genuine soft leather - a great find.

Vintage Jacket, Dress & Other Stories, Urban Outfitters Belt, Common Projects Sneakers,

I bought this jacket for sale, but I think I will keep it. It is combined with sneakers and a dress, with jeans and shoes - I just can not part with such a beautiful and versatile thing.

I still have unpleasant memories from my childhood about fabric belts, but I could not miss this one. My British girlfriend came to Moscow for the weekend, and I went and persuaded to give it to me for any money. As a result, exchanged for his two.

Sputnik1985 jacket, Zara T-shirt, Alpha Industries waist bag, vintage jeans, Amélie Pichard shoes

Jacket "Satellite" bought by accident. My friends and I were in St. Petersburg and drove into the Loft Project Floors; while waiting for a friend, I decided to kill time in the streetwear shop - and for good reason. Now a good part of my friends wondered where they would get the same one.

Fluffy shoes Amélie Pichard - this is the thing for which I am ready to spend all the money from year to year, it is a pity that this collection is already in the past. I like to combine them with coarse or basic things to balance the airy look. By the way, passers-by adore this piece of clothing: everyone looks at me in surprise and smiles good-naturedly.

I bought a belt bag as a gift for a young man - but in the end I often wear it. The size turned out to be the most suitable, even a book is placed there.

Vintage shorts, Sputnik1985 socks, Affex sandals

Sandals Affex - comfortable shoes for the summer, gave her friend. I like shoes, sneakers and coarse shoes more, I rarely wear sandals and in my style - with high socks “Sputnik”. Silk shorts.

Vintage trench coat, Palace sweatshirt, Champion workouts, Topshop ankle boots

A colored checkered trench with quilted lining is another unique piece found on a vintage market in Europe. On the first date with the young man, we got to talking and found out that both are Palace fans. Perhaps the only streetwear, the drops of which I really watch.

Silence + Noise trousers, Error 404 turtleneck, Topshop ankle boots, string bag from the Victoria and Albert Museum

An avoska was brought to me by a friend last year — I bought her at a gift shop at the Victoria and Albert Museum. In my opinion, this is the most unexpected trend that could come back from the Soviet past; A convenient alternative to a tired rag bag that proves that fashion is cyclical. By the way, this idea inspired us to the name of the store.

I saw shoe boots in the British online store Topshop, but for some reason they never reached Russia. I had to first persuade a friend to buy me these ugly, in her opinion, shoes, and then look for friends to deliver to Moscow. Thanks to friends and changeable Moscow weather - I carry almost without taking off.

Zara Dress, Amélie Pichard Shoes

I love Zara for the fact that sometimes you can find absolutely amazing things there. I bought this dress last summer a month before a friend's wedding, and then monitored the weather to make sure that this day would be cool and I could wear it.

Vintage Jacket, Jeans & Other Stories, Common Projects Sneakers, Mother's Bag

This jacket is my very first vintage item. It seems that once he was individually sewn on some man, and then a little changed due to the dexterous hands of the shopkeeper.

My mother’s bag: she bought it in her first year at university, but I couldn’t take my eyes off her since childhood. For the time being, her mother took care of her so much that she did not even allow me to touch her, but two years ago she gave me a birthday present. The most valuable thing in the entire wardrobe.

Sneakers Common Projects gave a young man - he believes that this is the most accurate pair of shoes. I support.

Vintage jacket, shirt and beret, jeans Zara, shoes Topshop

She found a silk shirt for only three hundred rubles on camber. I won the collar, which can be fastened in four ways. It is for such things that I love vintage: even if the thing seems ordinary at first glance, on closer inspection you will find a lot of incredible details.

HHH T-shirt, Santini bikes, Sputnik1985 socks, Vans sneakers, Retrosuperfuture glasses

Retrosuperfuture points were presented by friends on my order - they later told that none of them could understand why I want these swimming glasses. This is an incredibly independent accessory that will complement any image, and also very effectively save after stormy dances the day before.

Earrings - gift

A gift from a friend who just made a splash at last year’s Afisha Picnic among passersby. Some stopped me to ask where I found them.

Ring pandora

I do not like jewelry and, moreover, I don’t wear them in principle. I think that is still too young to understand their value. Nevertheless, this Pandora ring, which was presented by parents, was to my taste.

Favorite decorations

The trend for mono-earrings is a salvation for such a bogus like me. You can not worry that the second component of the pair somewhere gone.
