Report: Summer dresses and fur hats Ruban FW13

Look At Me continues to talk about the shows of Russian Fashion Weeks. We have already talked about Alekseev, Bessarion, Ahmadullina and two more pleasant shows of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia.

This time, photographer Yulia Mayorova and editor Rita Zubatova went to the debut show of Alice and Yuli Ruban, who previously only gave presentations.

The Ruban duet show is one of the few shows at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week that could lure me to the Manege. The last time I was here six months ago, and since then, little has changed. In a circle are the racks of sponsors of the event: among them, for example, DHL, Colgate and Lusk, and editors, stylists and buyers can be counted on the fingers: they, like us, come in 5 hits out of 50.

The space of the backstage is small, the pavilions for the designers were knocked together on the spot, panels and beams still lie in the corners. Our photographer complains about the non-photogenicity of the room, but at the output everything does not turn out so badly - the charming Alice and Julia Ruban and dozens of curling beauties save them. Casting is already excellent, and with styling is especially impressive. The girls have smooth tails with light strands woven into them, a make-up is clean, the lower eyelid is lined with turquoise shadows.

Corner Ruban - a real island of humanity at Mercedes-Benz Week. Clothing pleases no less. In the collection we see light dresses of pastel shades, interspersed with a pair of things from fur. Looking at the girls in dresses from organza, but with shaggy hats on their heads, we recall the disappearance of seasonality and the words of the grandmother "if only the ears were warm." Alice Ruban explains: "If you look closely, there are a lot of things suitable for the season in the collection - cashmere dresses and trousers, coats, fur jackets and Basques, leather trousers and skirts. Just adding light things, we made the images less heavy."

Indeed, looking at the collection of Ruban sisters, you unwittingly forget that you are watching the show of the autumn-winter season, but this does not please her less (apparently, this is from nostalgia for the spring that did not come in time). Abstract prints look great, but with the girls' skate, things of a clean cut remain: a coat with wings, skirts and dresses with a basque. Especially good are those for which the sisters use immediately perforated suede, silk and organza. Not everyone is able to combine materials skillfully.
