Take with you: Things to make the trip more comfortable
With the onset of autumn I just want to travel more. On the one hand, the thought that another summer flew by like one day does not give rest. On the other hand, the eternal feeling is gnawing that somewhere is better than here (and you want to be there immediately). One of the important components of any good trip is well-collected luggage, which will make the trip more pleasant and comfortable, and will not turn into an endless solution to everyday problems. We tell you what things to take with you to enjoy the adventure and not think about the daily.
Reliable and spacious suitcase
A large and sturdy suitcase that is guaranteed to survive a journey (and not just one) and which is convenient to carry with you (rather than hauling, grunting and cursing at the design of wheels) is one of the fundamental things for those who go on a long vacation and want to take is a maximum of luggage. It is reasonable to spend money on such a suitcase - buy the option more expensive, but from a trusted manufacturer and with a guarantee of quality. One of the most popular and reliable brands specializing in luggage and carry-on luggage is Samsonite: its range is limitless (from materials of manufacture and design to the number of wheels), plus everything is guaranteed. More aesthetic options - Mandarina Duck Italian suitcases and "crumpled" designer Crash Baggage - but you have to pay extra for beauty.

Strong and beautiful backpack
No matter how cool the suitcase is, it is always more convenient to go on a short trip with a light but roomy backpack. Ideally, it should easily fit: a beautician with everything you need, an ipad, a charger and a few basic things that ideally replace and complement each other. Another important point is that the backpack should be one that can be unloaded at the hotel and used as a city bag, without looking like a hardened backpacker with a “skin” under the arm. It makes sense to look at the classic functional models Eastpak, hipster classics Fjällräven with the same chanterelle on the logo or sports options favorite - from Vans to New Balance.

Compact umbrella
Looking at an umbrella, you always want to rebel and leave it at home (even when you are going to work, and not to faraway countries), just not to carry with you too much. And in vain. Because, firstly, health is more expensive - walking in wet clothes is unpleasant and dangerous. Secondly, they have been making high-quality and compact umbrellas for a long time, which neither rain nor wind interferes with. We chose three road variants weighing 150 grams and 17 centimeters long when folded, their caps are impregnated with water-repellent agent and designed to withstand even strong gusts of wind. Well, in general, there are a number of our favorite countries and regions (hello, the UK and Scandinavia), where it’s time to ban entry without umbrellas. However, ideological opponents of umbrellas can always prefer raincoats to them - we told about beautiful and functional options in the summer.

Toilet bag for cosmetics and trifles
A multi-pocket transformer cosmetic bag in the format of the famous Wasserman waistcoat may seem overkill to someone, but in fact it is an indispensable thing when packing luggage. It is convenient to fold all cosmetics and toiletries in such a way, finishing off with important small things like a needle thread, pins, paper handkerchiefs, a nail file and other necessary small fry that has a habit of getting lost in a large suitcase. In the countless pockets and compartments of the dressing case, all these things will remain in place. Plus, travel cosmetic bags are often so designed that, when unfolded, they can be hung on a hook in a hotel bathroom - then everything you need for washing will be at hand.

Organizer for documents
The last thing you want to do on a trip is to lose your passport and bank card (well, your own dignity, of course), so it makes sense to keep all the important papers in a safe place, and not where you have to - by pocket and bag. Fortunately cute organizers for documents today do for every taste and budget. You can choose an elegant leather version with special pockets for different types of documents or simpler and more fun - with a print in the form of a world map. For those who love to carry everything with them, a spacious Muji organizer will suit: not only a passport, tickets and bank cards will fit in there, but all important printouts with armor, insurance and photocopies of the necessary documents will fit easily. Also for the guidebook the place will remain.

External battery for smartphone
Nowhere does the smartphone sit as fast as on vacation: in the new city you want to take a picture of everything and immediately put it on instagram, check in on Facebook and check the way on Google Maps, in the end even the sea is indispensable - like a book or player. Exactly that is why every traveler should acquire an external battery: by the way, not only smartphones can be charged from it, but also tablets with laptops. Modern external batteries make compact and very cute (EMIE Samo in the form of a dog is our favorite), and their capacity, on average, is enough for 3-4 phone charges. If you don’t want to carry an additional gadget in principle, you can splurge on an iPhone case with a built-in battery, but keep in mind that it will provide only one additional charge.

Universal adapter for sockets
A separate problem in traveling, about which it is not customary to think in advance, is the ability to plug your gadget into a power outlet. For many it becomes a discovery that the connectors of sockets in different countries differ and in this case can not do without a special adapter. In large hotels and hotel chains, the problem is solved simply - the adapter can be obtained at the reception, but in all other situations you will have to spend your time searching for a home appliances store and money - to buy an adapter (and most likely not at the best price). Therefore, if you often travel and like to rent a house through Airbnb, it makes sense to get a small, ugly, but terribly useful adapter for outlets and throw it into a suitcase, advancing to conquer a new city.

Sleep mask and earplugs
In fact, a sleep mask is such a useful thing in the household that it is worth buying it, regardless of whether you are going on a trip or not. She will be able to fall asleep both in the daytime, and by the light of the lamps or the working television, which your awake mate refuses to turn off, and it is pleasant to lie down with a mask during a cold, when the eyes are especially sensitive to bright light. On a trip, she will make life easier and help you fall asleep during a jetlag or, for example, on an airplane. If you put comfortable earplugs in a pair with a mask, you can sleep almost anywhere and anytime: at least in an Istanbul apartment, whose windows face the street with trendy bars, even in a hotel on the central square of Athens, where local youths beat the drums before dawn . When choosing a mask, pay attention to the material from which it is made (for example, silk cools and does not leave creases on the skin), and tightness of the elastic - check that it does not press too hard on the head.

Road steamer
No matter how carefully you put things in a suitcase, it is unlikely that you will be able to keep them in a perfectly ironed form. Of course, there is always a chance that in the removable loft somewhere in the center of Vienna there is an iron, but at the same time there is a high probability that you just have to go to the opera in a crumpled dress. Either way, on travels that involve social visits, or business trips that require a perfectly tailored dress code, the miniature steamer will be your magic wand. Fortunately, they weigh nothing at all - half a kilo, and in size - a little more than a brush for cleaning clothes.

Portable speaker
Portable speaker is useful in any place where you want to have a party, but at the same time it is not so powerful as to place around. The range of them today is so great that it is up to you to decide which characteristic is more important - appearance, price, size, etc. On a journey, it makes sense to choose a compact version with maximum viability. For example, the round and funny Ultimate Ears Roll speakers are real party monsters: waterproof, dirt-repellent and extremely durable, so they survive the craziest party without a loss, and you wake up with a headache and crumpled.
