Freckles: The Most Spring Makeup
Freckles, natural and artificial, increasingly appear on the faces of models in the filming and on the catwalks. Fortunately, this feature of appearance is not to be scolded - which helped freckles to turn into a makeup element without any problems. If you do not have your own, you can always draw them, including non-standard materials. These are the options offered by makeup artists lately.
How it started
This feature of skin pigmentation - unlike, say, vitiligo - was almost always perceived in society as neutral. If at the beginning of the 20th century, the Western world was still chasing the "aristocratic" even complexion, then in the second half of the century such a fashion came to naught. Holders of freckles, models and actors with very different appearance, regularly appeared, including in gloss. And with the beginning of the renaissance of the podium and creative make-up, the makeup artists steadily began to show various versions of drawn freckles.
In 2011, Charlotte Tilbury portrayed freckles at the Chloé show, using eyeliner - even then bloggers paid close attention to the reception. In 2014, Val Garland came up with real placer dots for Preen, while other makeup artists tried not to block natural freckles with dense bases and concealers. In 2015, Emma Stone attended the SAG Awards ceremony with fake freckles - and her appearance was unanimously voted incredibly stylish. Despite the fact that the author of the blog Glam & Gore, Mikey, showed a version of artificial freckles back in 2015, the instagram's mass love for instagrams happened to them quite recently - at the intersection of a fashion that has not gone away for translated tattoos and undying interest in freckles themselves.
Why do you need it
Today, fortunately, you can’t surprise anyone with your freckles - neither with your family nor with your pictures. With the help of make-up it is easy to diversify the image, and in both cases: if you are tired of them, you can apply a tone more densely, and if they are not enough - scatter on the face as your heart desires. Salons have long been offering microblading and tattooing freckles, but these procedures are, by and large, traumatic to the skin. Pencil, glitter and shadows are easy to wash off, besides the process itself is much more exciting: here you can select different colors, play with the number and location, try different textures. In general, start the spring day creatively.
How to do it
For freckles that look as natural as possible, uncover your “nude set”: as a rule, warm eyebrow pencils, matte eye shadows and other means that fall into the range of your skin tones are excellent. It is convenient to draw not only with a pencil, but also with a thin brush - take creamy shades or liquid eyeliner and just put dots. Make sure that the funds are not too much: it is better to apply a dry product in a wet way, and fix the structure with powder or a finishing spray on top.
If you want abstract makeup, a great solution would be colored freckles or, of course, our favorite glitter. The easiest way to use large sequins, putting them one by one with a cotton swab. With transferable freckles, everything is difficult: as a rule, transparent traces of glue tattoos are perfectly visible on the face, but it is possible that the makeup will stay neat longer.
