Rosy eyelids: Palette and shadows in pink
TO CHANGE RED SHADES COME PINK. Some brands included them in the permanent range, others in the spring collections. Someone is spinning around peaches, others are more interesting than fuchsia - in any case, the vector is set, so in the near future we will be inundated with pink of all possible shades to the ears. Alina Smirnova tested all the kits she was able to reach, and chose a few more outstanding examples - surely there will be something for you among them.
Skinfood Mineral Sugar Blend Eyes
Recently Moscow’s first single-brand store Skinfood, a Korean brand, has opened in Metropolis with an eye to thoughtful care and natural makeup. On the table with decorative cosmetics, the most noticeable were the shadows: the familiar design (Urban Decay, is that you?), Bright colors, beautiful palettes. Last spring, the brand diluted the neutral line with peach and coral tones - in the best Korean traditions, all the options are effortlessly bleached into a translucent haze.
Mousse au Plum Chocolate is five soothing shades plus a cranberry accent. The latter, when feathered, turns into a delicate pink-brown, and when diligently stuffing it onto the base is suitable for red-brown smoky. It turned out to be easy to make these shades with a neat makeup of five shades, but the brush is superfluous - there is little sense from it, and even a palette without it would become even easier.
Lime Crime Pocket Candy Palette
In the recent launch of Lime Crime there is not a single palette where pink would not have leaked. At first glance, all sets look uncompromisingly bright, but in reality each set has the usual brown shades, with which it is easier to walk crimson in the office. Set Sugar Plum half consists of just such - by the way, very flexible. The bright shade of Candied Plum had to be layered to get the desired color, and the trickster Fairy Floss turned out to be a topper: with it any other color explodes with pink and blue sparkles.
Candy Palette is an ideal toy for a beauty-geek who understands brushes and does not mind spending twenty minutes on makeup against the usual ten. For this, you are waited for by five unexpected compliments at the cooler and an increased sense of self-grandeur.
Shiseido Paperlight Cream Eye Color
A series of translucent cream shadows appeared in Shiseido last November, but the palette looks more like a spring. Here and the color of the first green, making the way through drifts, and calm sea turquoise. Salmon Sango Coral, as stated, is translucent, so it’s almost invisible in a single layer on light skin. We have to lay down three at once - and the shadows immediately run away into the fold. Conclusion: without a base for Japanese innovation is better not to approach. But on her means stand for eight to ten hours, and you can fix it with a clean finger. They look very fresh, companies do not require and are generally suitable for a five-minute make-up, if you know how to quickly apply the base.
Clarins Palette 4 Couleurs
We are all waiting for the excitement to start around Lovely Rose - it definitely deserves it. The shadows of this palette turned out to be the easiest to use and wear. Shades at first glance seem strange - warm coral and cold lilac are usually not friendly, - but on the eyelid they are mixed so that the eyes look, otherwise you cannot say, rosy.
Under a hard brush, the shadows can crumble, but otherwise there are no problems with them. The darkest shade is suitable for shooters who live to remove makeup without special tools. Apparently, spring should be met in Lovely Rose (and wool sweater).
Urban Decay Naked 3
When the Naked series palettes could still be counted on the fingers of one hand (the first, second and two Basics), Naked 3 was a small revolution - Wendy Somnir suddenly declared that the pink color may well be everyday. Time has shown that she was right: now shades from this set (a successful mix of matte, shimmer and glitter ones) are painted for work and wedding, and the brand is preparing to launch a successor - Backtalk Palette in the same range. The date is still kept secret, but to spend time in the company of the original is still nicer than going on alone.
MAC Personality Palettes
The heir to the royal throne according to the version of the MAS is doomed to drag out its existence in an office with a strict dress code: the lion’s share of flowers is neutral. Two pink (matte and satin) are soft, there is one shade with the effect of foil, designed to add to the holiday makeup.
All colors behave obediently and are ready to work in any circumstances (even if you took the brush from the Skinfood set). By the way, the MAS has more bright solutions - the same set of Red Hot Times Nine, which in the fall looked trendy. Here we used the Fuchsia pigment - it lay down in makeup like a glove, but without a base already by lunchtime went to another lock.
NYX Professional Makeup In Your Element Palette
A palette of toppers (including pink ones) that turn any makeup into an evening make-up. Obviously, the famous Urban Decay Moondust took the model for the NYX: In Your Element is also best applied with a finger, revealed with electric light and often duochromite. In both cases, you need a sticky base (the same cream Shiseido Paperlight), otherwise all the sparkles will be on the cheeks. NYX definitely wins in terms of price (it is two times lower, but there are one and a half times more shadows) and scales: many shades are self-sufficient and work fine without a backing.
