On the go: How to make up your nails in transport

In car
For some reason I was sure that the machine is the most convenient place for a quick manicure. In fact, nothing like that. It was convenient, but only when we were standing in a small traffic jam or at traffic lights; while driving, I repeatedly brushed over the cuticle (and much further than the cuticle, to be honest) and painted my nails rather unevenly. Perhaps it’s shaking on bad asphalt or in a large number of turns, although it is possible that the first pancake is always lumpy and I have not had time to tune in to a manicure in extreme conditions. By the way, do not try to unfasten the seat belt with freshly painted nails. Door handle is also dangerous.
In the trolley bus
Manicure in the trolley was one of the most successful, in my opinion. In any case, I painted my nails quickly and almost neatly. The trolley bus was not at all shaking, there were few people in the cabin, and the lighting was excellent. Almost like home, only a bottle of varnish has to be clamped between the knees. The main danger, of course, is to smear the varnish. Both outerwear, and a bag on the shoulder, and other passengers interfere here.
In the subway car
It is better to paint nails in the subway in a dark color: the lighting in the cars is far from ideal. My lacquer was white, which made the task even more difficult (it isn’t every time you turn white into a perfect color with a white color and at home). In general, I will not say that they were disturbed by others or shaking, the main problem was a dull yellowish light. By the way, it is more convenient to paint the nails not sitting, but by putting a hand to the glass (with the inscription "do not lean against").
On the escalator
To varnish nails on an escalator is the most difficult task. There is a temporary restriction, and people passing by touch elbows, and the handrails are constantly treacherously creeping too far away, so you have to move your hand all the time. To think about how to quickly apply the second layer, even not necessary. Again, the lighting. Although with dark varnish it does not seem to be such a problem.
In general, for a high-speed extreme manicure it is better to choose a dark and dense varnish with a wide flat brush (like in American Apparel, for example) in order to paint the entire surface of the nail as quickly and accurately as possible. Body lacquer is also suitable, but only if there is time for applying several layers and drying. Probably, this is an option for a trip on a trolley bus along the Garden Ring.
