Netherlands Anne Verhallen joined the ranks of androgynous models in the winter of last year, after the scout Micha Models noticed her on the street of Amsterdam and came up with the question: "What is your height?" At first the girl was frightened, but quickly realized what was the matter and soon she attached herself to the agency.
"My grandmother and I are very close, she is an impulsive person. I didn’t like my long hair, everyone had the same, and one day I said that I would like a short haircut. She cut me hair that evening!" - tells Anna in an interview with WWD.
Joining the maternal agency in the Netherlands, Anne made several test shootings. And when the exams ended, I went to conquer Milan with Iris Egbers, about whom I had already written Look At Me. In Milan, Anna signed a contract with Women and a month later returned to her homeland. In the summer of 2011, the model made a serious breakthrough - it was casting to the shows of couture collections by Alexis Mabille and Jan Taminiau. And in the fall I went to New York and Paris, where I did 16 shows. At the same time Verhallen removed for the cover of D, appeared on the pages of Madame Figaro, Velor, Naag, Schon and in the catalogs of the first collection of clothing Dr. Martens and Urban Outfitters. At the end of November, the girl turned 21 and she returned to the Netherlands to see her family.
