New Faces: Saskia, Leomi and Vika

Saskia de Brau

The position of the Dutch Saskia de Brau in the modeling business was not immediately determined. A scout from one of the Amsterdam news agencies noticed a girl in a tram when she was 16 years old. After a short time working as a model and not having achieved success, Saskia focused on her studies at the school of arts. After successfully completing it, the girl went to work as a teacher.

Many years have passed since then - in April Saskia celebrated her 29th birthday. However, in the summer of 2010 I remembered the missed opportunity to build a model career and took test shots at Paparazzi. And in September she went to the shows Balenciaga, Matthew Williamson and Reed Krakoff. During the casting for the presentation of the spring-summer collection of Givenchy Saskia charmed Riccardo Tisci. Since then, the model can be seen in all filming and brand shows, including the SS 2011 show, the SS 2011 lookbook, advertising campaigns, the Haute Couture SS 2011 collection, Pre-Fall 2011 and even the recent men's show. Probably, we will see a girl on the 2011 autumn and winter brand show. Recently it became known that Karin Roitfeld chose a model for the cover of the last issue of the French Vogue, which will be released under her leadership.

Leomi Anderson

Leomi Anderson was born in 1993 in Colliers Wood, London. She made her debut at the Premier agency in her homeland, and later attached to Elite in Milan and New York. Despite the fact that Leomi began with the SS 2010 season, she achieved notable achievements only a year later when she appeared on the show of the spring-summer collections Marc by Marc Jacobs, Topshop Unique, Loewe and Trina Turk. By that time, the editors of the online magazine TheOnes2Watch, as well as Dazed & Confused and Teen Vogue, noticed the budding model. Next season, the girl will be the face of Emanuel Ungaro: she first appeared on the show of the new line, and later in the shooting of the pre-autumn collection and the advertising campaign of SS 2011. Last month, Falileeva was invited to the fashion shows of Basil Soda, Georges Chakra and Bouchra Jarrar, and at the recently launched fashion week in New York she participated in the shows Luca Luca, Costello Tagliapietra, Rachel Comey and Ruffian.
