The LGBT History Museum in Russia is an online platform dedicated to the LGBT movement in our country. The site has several sections that would become separate halls in an ordinary museum: "LGBT-movement", "About LGBT", "LGBT in culture", "LGBT traditions" and "In the world". Here you can find documents, articles and publications about LGBT people, videos and photos, as well as research data and news - all materials are carefully selected and checked by curators.

There are not so many materials in the museum yet, but they add up to a solid picture: here you can learn about the famous Soviet and Russian representatives of the LGBT community, about the role of LGBT in culture, about the attitude of the authorities in Soviet times and now, about well-known LGBT organizations. Anyone can become a volunteer and help the development of the project - for example, search for materials, scan them or provide documents from a personal archive. In addition, activists, project organizers promise to organize exhibitions in the future - everything is like in a traditional museum.
