25 years of "Sailor Moon": Makeup artists show your favorite images

This year, the cult anime series "Sailor Moon" was twenty-five years old - he is more mature than other fans. If you also stuck to the screen in the early morning to see how the schoolgirl Bunny and her friends reincarnate into warriors in sailor suits, and were secretly in love with Tuxedo Mask, we suggest that you express your feelings through makeup. Our heroes, makeup artists and authors of their own blogs in Telegram show how this can be done.

I have always associated the moon with a combination of gold and blue-violet. As a basis for MAC Dazzleshadow, I used cream products of blue and purple, distributing them on a moving eyelid. With a large and flat lid & r brush, I applied glitter: pointwise, in the case, and not worrying at all - the brush keeps the situation under control. On the mucous membrane cool resistant pencil Make Up For Ever Aqua XL burgundy hue, which enhances the green tint in the eyes of Stas. Easy correction, highlighter - and you can proceed to the lips. On them, NYX liquid lipstick in Amethyst shade. And gold - how without it? Instead of a tick above the lip, I draw a golden crescent and hint at it in the make-up of the moving century. Then the mascara - the more the better.

In thinking about which image to choose, I have never doubted that they would be villains - they always look stylish and bright. My choice fell on the Black Moon sisters Ayakasi: Petzite, Kalaverayt, Bertereit and Kermeside. Green - Petzayt - the oldest, and in combination also the strongest. It is he who I associate with the dark forces and mystery. Orange color - Kalaverayt, the second in seniority of the clan, considers himself the most beautiful. I was inspired by two younger sisters: Berterayt - the blue color that symbolizes ice, and Kermeside - a dark-violet flame. By the way, all four girls were real fans of cosmetics.

Prince Diamond is my favorite villain in Sailor Moon. When I thought about his make-up, I realized that the schematic image of a diamond fits well on the face. I did not find a white eyeliner, so I took the cream pigment NARS Eye Paint. Here the main thing is to choose a tool that will harden and not spread. White concealer, for example, is unlikely to fit. Before drawing a diamond, I prepared my face: I leveled my tone, fixed it with powder and finished painting the tips of my eyebrows at once. With a brown pencil, she summed up the inner and outer corners of the eyes, and applied a silvery-lavender eyeliner to the center of the lower mucosa — homage to Prince Diamond's lilac eyes. My ears are not pierced, so the golden eyeliner-glitter Urban Decay acts as a decoration.

My character is Sailor Baby, she is Chibi, and a million more names like all the other characters in this series. Oddly enough, I began to think of an image from my eyes - they are red in Chibi, and I just had suitable lenses of increased diameter; Character's pink hair is also not far from my red ones. Add to this an exorbitant love for various decorations - it seems we were made for each other. I admit, the longest in creating this image was the assembly of the tiara - from stars, latex and rhinestones. A shade Jeffree Star lipstick around the eyes, paint eyebrows with a liquid lip liner, glitter on the cream lipstick and routed to the ears became a matter of fifteen minutes.

I remembered with pleasure the year 1995, when we used some magical methods to catch unknown channels on which we showed anime, including Sailor Moon. Because of the interference, it was almost impossible to understand the plot, but still those who watched the series were considered very cool. And aerobatics were the ability to draw heroines, than all the girls with more or less success were doing each other in notebooks and questionnaires.

In honor of the sailor jubilee, I wanted to create a make-up in which the heroine would be easily recognizable, but all together would not look like cosplay. I love the images of the villains from Sailor Moon, but I decided that not all of them remember, and therefore I stopped at Bunny. For the first image, I managed with the Kryolan coloring spray and did not make the typical anime eye shape; in the second she could not resist and still came up with a negative character, a kind of gothic Bunny.

Artemis is a white cat with green eyes and pink ears. He often grumbles, but only in the case. Such a good friend like Artemis is hard to find, easy to lose and impossible to forget. I came up with makeup, a party for which you do not need to wait for weeks - it looks great in everyday life. The hair and ears of Artemis turned into white and pink arrows, and the yellow moon from his forehead moved to his lips. To repeat, you need a minimum of funds. The only excess, but at an affordable price - a palette with non-standard shades of Kiko Milano lipstick. Thanks to the mass market for such products.

I used Hylamide Matte 12 Cream and Glossier Coconut Balsam to prepare my face for makeup. Matte cream hides pores and promises protection against oily shine for twelve hours, and the balm quickly softens the lips. For the tone, I chose NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer and Stretch Concealer brand Glossier. Both products are quite fatty, moisturize well, and with them the face never looks flat. I drew white arrows and mucous with Kayal Make Up For Ever, and with blush NARS Dual-Intensity applied pink color on the eyelids and cheeks. I painted eyebrows and eyelashes with MAC products: Brow Set gel and InstaCurl Lash mascara. Last stage - lips. At first, I applied a hot pink tint from the palette to the entire surface, added orange along the contour, a darker and more contrasting pink in the center and tinted the borders between shades. Such a color transition, ombre, can be done in just a minute and without the use of brushes.
