Reportage: Ivan Litvinenko
The backstage of the Moschino show, which takes place in the very center of Milan, is expected by eight in the morning. The room is spacious, haste is not felt at all, the photographers lazily order their coffee from the fribar, the models sleep in the corners. They did not hide the collection from the uninitiated (as, for example, was on Emilio Pucci) - here everyone can see jackets, coats, skirts and shoes from the new collection. Everywhere monograms, Scottish cells and gold. Tom Pesho, the main makeup artist at MAC, talks about what inspired him this time: youth and England. Natural makeup: it is pink and peach blush, light shades - all in order to create the image of a young English girl. |
It is interesting that technological progress influenced the process of applying makeup. According to Pesho, with the beginning of using high-resolution cameras, he is forced to put blush a little higher, because the flash knocks out the red color and natural-looking models look like clowns. For the same reason, now we need to be more careful in our work as a whole: you can see every make-up error in the photos. Closer to the beginning of the show, Anna Dello Rousseau enters the hall, gathering around herself all the journalists and leaving the models alone with cupcakes and espresso. |
