Cute rounded Livia pebbles seem to make life easier for half of humanity. The gadget is attached to the body and, with the help of two electrodes, acting on the nerves, blocks pain. The developers explain the principle of operation in this way: Livia sends its own signals to the nerves, which occupy them so much that they can no longer handle the pain, and it remains unfeeling.
The company’s approach to the health of its users is serious: the gadget is in the process of being approved by the FDA and receiving the CE marking, which allows distribution in the EU. In the process of testing, 163 women took part, the clinical testing was led by a professor from the Yitzhak Rabin Medical Center. Livia can be used by women of any age, but it is contraindicated for people with heart rhythm problems and using a pacemaker.
So far, the team has launched a crowdfunding campaign ($ 85 is the minimum price for a gadget, but there are more interesting offers like a “sisterly” double set), but the gadget's reviews are completely laudable: women of different ages say that this is the only non-drug means that completely relieved them of pain . The device starts working right from the moment of attachment to the skin, does not cause any side effects and addiction. The power of the Livia electrical impulses can be adjusted for themselves, but in any case they will not be “shocked by the current”. The only drawback that can be seen in it now is the need to wear it on the belt of a skirt or trousers, but we will not blame the creators for such a feature - pure swinishness.
