Both grew up in Palm Beach, Florida, and all their free time was spent on the beach, for which they came up with a joke for their name - Flagpole. His girls later used for their brand. The debut collection of designers was the 2015 cruise. It took just over a year to launch in New York, but success came immediately. Flagpole swimwear almost immediately appeared on the pages of Vogue, Maxim, Nylon, ELLE, InStyle and Self, a little later, the designers showed their collection at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim. Now, Flagpole Swim items are exclusively presented in Barneys department store and Net-A-Porter online store. This is not to mention the fact that you can buy them on the website of the brand.
At Flagpole Swim, non-shameful minimalist sportswear swimsuits are obtained. There are separate with panties with a high waist, solid two-color and with an open back, options with cutouts on the sides and simple monophonic. In addition, the brand sews women's beachwear (dresses, shorts, bags), as well as sports items: bra-tops and tights. Now Megan and Jamie are working on the men's and children's line of things. Flagpole Swim use expensive elastic Italian polyamide mixed with elastane. So, swimsuits will not fail either in salt water, or in bleach, or in the bright sun. The main thing for us is not even the work with color (experiments with which we love very much), but the landing of things. We are inspired by different things: the graphic lines of the Brooklyn Bridge in New York, photographs of Helmut Newton, as well as the Narciso Rodriguez and Céline collections.
