FOR RUBBER "WARDROBE" we take pictures of beautiful, original or strangely dressed people in their favorite things and ask them to tell related stories. This week our heroine is Katya Tabakova, fashion editor at Harper's Bazaar.

I am a minimalist. Designed complex things are not quite mine. At the same time I like laconic forms and things that carry a certain meaning. There are almost no prints in my wardrobe - I used to wear only monochrome: blue, white and black. Now I try to dilute the image with color.

I think the most talented designer at the moment - Jonathan Anderson. The things that he does are ideological, and I study with great interest his every collection. Anderson's own line seems sometimes too avant-garde for life, but what he does for Loewe is always a beautiful and solid story.

When I was a teenager I, like many, had a period of skate clothing. But I quickly realized that there is a certain set of things and forms that go with me. From the moment I started working at Harper's Bazaar, my style has undergone minor changes, has become more conscious. Almost all my clothes fit together. My uniforms are white and blue shirts combined with jeans, trousers and A-silhouette skirts, plus classic pumps; these are things that I am sure of.

I try to consciously treat purchases, although when you work as a fashion editor, it is sometimes difficult to stay. But impulsive consumption for me is in the past. I can spend a large amount on shoes, accessories, bags and outerwear, but generally I am calm about democratic brands. I mostly buy clothes online or on trips. The combination with classic pumps and coats is a story from the 90s. That's how I look every day. I have a lot of coats, specifically it attracted me in deep blue. I am very good to H & M, especially I love their Studio line. I like to combine frankly feminine things with something neutral in order to balance the image. I have this combination in several colors. When you find your thing, you do not want to get out of it. Shoes - the most comfortable in the world. These Gianvito Rossi have the perfect shoe - I walk in them like slippers all day.

I am a real fan of & Other Stories. They do in a good fashionable and understandable things. And even their basic clothes are of good quality. In our department, my colleague Alla has such a dress in a bright blue color, although we have complete opposites in terms of choosing clothes. I bought it before my birthday in Berlin. Put on a holiday in Moscow. And it turned out that in the restaurant at the next table the girl was exactly the same. Exchanged compliments. Such a coincidence, although I rarely meet people in the same clothes as mine. Shoes with a not very comfortable lift: it is hard for me to wear them for a long time, but I love them for their color - futuristic metallic.

A friend of mine who attended the press event said that all things Lemaire x Uniqlo had been bought up. Imagine my surprise when it turned out that on the day of the official sale in the shop in Okhotny Ryad almost the entire collection was hanging - in all sizes. Bought a few things, this dress as well. I like to wear a high collar bodysuit down - it turns out graphically.

I do not have a lot of vintage things, but those that are, have become my favorite, and I wear them all the time. This dress is found on the open spaces of eBay. I like his shoulder line - I feel the power woman in him. Tie a belt to accent the waist. It is very strict, but looks cool with suede boots. Leather would have looked too aggressive. I courageously brought the jackboots to a friend and colleague Olya from a business trip to Paris, I don’t understand how she managed to run after them into the store between shows and meetings. I also wear them with tight pants with a high waist and a loose shirt.

Dress is my favorite find at H & M. All friends ask what brand it is, it does not look like a mass market. The fabric is very beautiful - satin, but not too shiny. I thought for a long time how to adapt this blouse: it is completely transparent, so I often wear it with something simple like a sconce, a pair of jeans and Cossacks. It is rather an evening option.

I have been following the fate of this dress for a long time at Urban Outfitters. It was worth some very heavy money then - about 500 dollars. Periodically went to the site and checked the basket in the hope of a discount, and, apparently, because of a system error, its price became equal to $ 12. Order issued seconds in seven. It was just before the New Year, and for me the holiday seemed to come a little earlier. Shoes are also good luck, they are from Barcelona. I was there on July 1, when sales start at the Inditex group of stores. Went by chance, in the end made a half shop.

Sweater is an absolutely uncharacteristic thing for me, it was presented to me by girls from PRCo (the agency that leads the brand). In life, he looks even wilder than in the photo. At the same time I wear it almost more often than all the other things in the wardrobe. Colleagues were very surprised: "Kate, a sweater with skulls, what's wrong with you?"

Shoes that I like in Uterqüe always live up to sales and are worthless in the store in all sizes. We are all wary of kitten heels, rather prefer high-heeled shoes. In Uterqüe there are excellent basic things - shirts, pants and knitwear do not fall apart after the first wash.

Pants bought in Berlin, they are from a very dense fabric, which holds the shape well. I had to hem them a little to wear with sneakers. I bought sneakers when I was walking in New York and realized that I needed them right now. Bypassed five stores, and everywhere they were sold out. As a result, I found it by chance: a cute girl made almost the last pair. I bought a shirt recently; the hero of the Balzac novel could wear it. By the way, I never fasten the cuffs - it gives the shirts some relaxation.

This photo shows what form of bags I love. When I buy a bag of a large size, I automatically start putting a lot of unnecessary things there, and in the end it "warps" me. Céline found the Japanese on eBay. Vintage is best bought from them - they always wear gloves and handle things very carefully. The monogram for me is an absolute classic, it is important not to let stereotypes of zero score their heads.

I prefer fragrances heavier - single and sandalwood. I try to keep myself in hand and not to overdo it with them, so that people do not say: "When you have already left this place." I love and men's smells, too.

Cossacks look cool, but they need to be worn with the correct length of the pants - they can cut the leg. It is important that a small strip of skin is visible very little. Acne turned out to be ideal for the Moscow winter - surprisingly, with the second season, nothing happens.
