Julia Trukhina initially worked as a model, but then decided to try her hand at the role of casting director - and succeeded. She helped with the selection of models and staging at Gosha Rubchinskiy shows, held in three cities of Russia, and Walk of Shame, as well as filming in magazines from Dazed and T Magazine to Russian Elle and Vogue.
Trukhina always treated people with whom she worked on projects with great sympathy, so she later founded a creative association designed to protect the interests of its members. Yulia believes that the modeling business in Russia, unfortunately, focuses primarily on the interests of companies, not models: "After several castings and successful searches for interesting faces, it struck me how quickly brands, companies and even other agencies began to borrow these guys For them, this was not always a good collaboration, so I decided to take the guys under my wing. "
Trukhina is constantly looking for - and finds - all the new interesting people: "It is really incredibly interesting for me to select models for filming - this is how to make up the main characters for the story. This moment when you see someone, everything shrinks inside: it seems like an eternity before the moment you approach a person, but in reality it is only a second. Then you are in anticipation, in the hope of a positive answer. " Over the years in the industry, Yulia has formed a pool of like-minded people: teammate Vadik Shafakov, stylist Nastya Batashova, model Alesha Kovaleva, photographer Masha Demyanova and cameraman Nikita Zeleny. Together they seek to show how diverse the new generation of models can be, which we see in magazines, on the catwalk and in advertising.
