10 glitter makeup options
Anyway, shining Make-up is primarily associated with the holiday, so let's not get on the armored car, but rather tell you how to use sparkles in an unusual way. Immediately make a reservation: we did not grind and specifically chose noticeable glitter, but the modest one can replace the glitter with pearl shadows and lipstick. Developing our desire to shoot "real" people, we invited Maiden Obey's DJ-duet Dasha Utochka and Nastya Pilepchuk to act as models, who perfectly know what it means to shine.
Even the sparkles that look bright in a jar almost do not give a hue to the skin, so the color base should be drawn separately. Nastya (left) has the appropriate shape of the century in order to draw geometric figures on it, we did it with a blue pencil. Sequins themselves are the easiest to glue on Vaseline or lip gloss; if you do not rub your face, they will last the whole evening. Dasha (right) has holographic sparkles, they catch and reflect the light so beautifully that we decided to do without the color substrate and apply them as if the wind had shone the shining tears to the temples.
How to do it: (Nastya) foundation, Bourjois Metallic Eyeliner pencil, petrolatum, small blue glitter Severina, INGLOT, Make Up For Ever or similar, cold shade highlighter; (Dasha) foundation, holographic sparkles, petroleum jelly, mascara.
The easiest option for those who can do just about anything is to distribute sparkles over the entire face or one part of it. Without a doubt, it is the most spectacular - depending on the material of glitter, it can sparkle like diamond dust, or at least shimmer in the manner of scales. Glue again will have to Vaseline, but for walks on the street, such makeup will even help - the face will not deface. We add that it is easier not to type small and light sparkles on the brush and then transfer them to the face, but drop it into a folded album sheet twice and blow it onto the skin. Larger ones like Nastya will have to be glued with pens.
How to do it: (Dasha) foundation, petroleum jelly, fine glitter for manicure, flat iridescent glitter, mascara; (Nastya) foundation, petroleum jelly, flat rainbow sparkles.
As we have already explained, makeup is not only a painted face. Painted and shiny neck, in our opinion, looks beautiful and festive, and sequins in the parting can beautify even the simplest hairstyle. Again, the glitter will not give the skin a shade, so first you need to apply shadows on it (we chose blue, but any will do), and then sparkles. For resistance to parting, it is also better to put a little Vaseline and glue glitter on it. It is more difficult with hands: it is hardly possible not to touch them with anything, so instead of sequins, we suggest dyeing them with persistent creamy shadows and, until they are frozen, rub them into the sequins. Particularly brave can paint the skin with chrome paint for graffiti - it certainly will not be washed off in one evening.
How to do it: (Dasha) foundation, small glitter, petroleum jelly, creamy shiny shadows like Maybelline Color Tattoo; (Nastya) foundation, colored shadows of a suitable shade, petroleum jelly, small sparkles.
We have already spoken about the enthusiasm of the modern culture of the 1990s. In make-up, it is reflected, for example, in the irony over the favorite technique of that time - using light lipstick and a contour pencil. Of course, this make-up cannot be called classic, but we see no reason for confident girls not to repeat it. We offer the most uncompromising option: a neat black lip liner, silvery shadows and a few large sparkles to match the shine. A similar option, but more modest - just stick the sparkles on the lips covered with shadows. We chose copper, at a certain angle they merge with the skin and make it just shine.
How to do it: (Dasha) foundation, beige large flat sparkles, warm highlighter; (Nastya) lipstick primer, resistant black pencil like Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes, thick silver cream shades like Maybelline Color Tattoo, flat silver sparkles.
Large glitter has great potential: they can be glued in a chaotic manner - and everything will look right. We decided to scatter them cheeks in the manner of freckles (this year they became very popular, and some brands even released “special” pencils to imitate them). Smaller ones can be made mono-makeup by pasting them on the movable eyelid and lips. By the way, we can not help reminding about the best way to mask bruises under the eyes - we have been waiting for this moment all year.
How to do it: (Nastya) foundation, large curly spangles, petroleum jelly; (Dasha) foundation, small curly glitter, mascara, petroleum jelly.
