Soloist Magnetic Poetry Oksana Ivashinina about favorite outfits

FOR RUBBER "WARDROBE"we take pictures of beautiful, original or strangely dressed people in their favorite things and ask them to tell related stories. This week, our heroine is the PR coordinator of the Monki brand and the lead singer of the Magnetic Poetry duet, Oksana Ivashinina.

I love to dress cheaply and I don’t remember when I bought a new thing at full price. Almost all of my wardrobe is a 5-20 euro find. I’m almost not attracted to designer stuff, and I don’t believe in their status. As for me, almost everything you need can be found in any second. It will cost a thousand times less, and look - more unique. For me, it's like music: why listen to something inspired by a band from the 80s, if you can listen to that band from the 80s? What could be nicer than when people start to guess the brand, looking at your find for 3 euros from Berlin's Humana?

I do not adhere to a certain style - I dress according to my mood, inspired by various images from pop culture and those that surround me every day. Of course, I buy a lot of things in my native Monki and in the stores of the H & M Group. I think if it were not for these brands, my wardrobe would completely consist of no name things. I have been working in retail for six years already, you can add to this ten years of work in the retail of my husband and classmate Dima - this greatly affects the choice of things. I went through a period of unrestrained purchases, there was a moment when things were just nowhere to go. Now I live by the principle: I bought a pair of shoes - get rid of two. The junk inspires horror. It's great that now there are so many options for a reasonable analysis of wardrobe - I never throw things in the trash.

Pendleton Vintage Skirt, Monki Top, Rains Rain Coat, adidas sneakers Gazelle

I bought this skirt in a Parisian second, attention, for 5 euros. Moreover, this is 100% wool, and even the original tartan of the Lennox clan (hello to the TV show "Alien"). She collects compliments each time so much that it is somehow uncomfortable. Danish rain cover fits into our climate as well as Copenhagen, so it’s simply indispensable.

Vintage dress, adidas Gazelle sneakers

This dress is sheer joy and reminds candy, it always wants to sing and jump. There is a feeling that when I wear it, it’s not only me who is in a good mood.

Gap Vintage Jacket, Weekday T-shirt, Dr. Jeans Denim, adidas Gazelle sneakers

I am at least the fourth owner of this jacket: it belonged to a real American schoolboy - on the inside he even wrote his name so that he would not get lost. My friend Anya ordered it for herself, but she did not fit her and was presented to my husband, who, I think, never put it on.

Weekday sells very cool basic T-shirts and sweatshirts - I usually buy at least three jokes at once. Dr. Denim is a very good inexpensive Swedish brand, which is now, unfortunately, not at all to be found in Moscow.

I love classic sneakers; adidas Gazelle is so versatile that I sometimes forget about the existence of another shoe in my wardrobe.

Monki jacket, top and choker, Levi's Vintage jeans, Swedish Hasbeens clogs, Sara Andreasson patch

I fundamentally disagree with those who consider mom-jeans unfeminine. To me, they are just Marilyn Monroe in the world of denim. I bought this pair in Moscow GUM seven years ago. They are sewn on the pattern of the 50s: they have a lot of cool, primed parts, and pockets on the pope are ideal for bringing a flask of alcohol to any festival. In one of these pockets, I still carry the program of the Flow Festival 2010. I love to wear a lot of denim at once and I really love working clothes in the style of technical woman Zina: I have a lot of dressing gowns and strange jackets.

T-shirt H & M, vintage skirt, boots Dr. Martens

In these Cinderella shoes, I got married, which greatly amused the workers of the Tagansky Registry Office. The H & M T-shirt would have surpassed any Acne with its durability. It seems to me that considering things from the mass market to be short-lived is a stereotype, and I also like things from second-hand for their imperfection: it’s a little broken, the hook doesn’t hold on - all this only adds to their uniqueness and style. I do not like polished images at all. The skirt is very cool made initially, and the little flaws only make it beautiful.

Customized second denim dress, Monki jeans, adidas Gazelle sneakers

I love hand embroidery - I embroider on everything that lies just like that. I have been wearing this dress for about five years now, all the while inventing new variations - but it will not exhaust itself in any way.

Vintage skirt, American Apparel sweatshirt, Filipe Sousa boots

I love glitter and lurex. I have a whole shelf brilliant in the closet - I believe that the reason to wear sparkles is not needed. This Italian skirt in the Berlin Humana second did not give me a saleswoman for a long time, rounding my eyes to a price tag of 9 euros.

I try to buy shoes from shoe brands, and I advise everyone traveling to Portugal to pay attention to their shoe stores - as a rule, everything is very cheap and cool. The brand Filipe Sousa is made by the same factory where Opening Ceremony and Isabel Marant place their orders, and everything costs around 100 euros.

Vintage sweater, denim apron and jeans - Monki, adidas Gazelle sneakers

One of my favorite images is the city samurai. I like how my body is lost in displaced proportions - this is the most comfortable bow for Moscow, I feel more confident in it. Sweater bought in a tour of Europe a few years ago. I wore it without removing it for more than a week, as it was a hell of a little clothes, it is strange that he was still not tired.

In Monki there is always a bunch of original denim things, every season I look forward to new items with impatience. An apron, perhaps the craziest thing I have, is perfect to baffle the inhabitants in the subway.

Peter Jensen dress, Beyond Retro vest, Flipe Sousa boots

This dress was supposed to be my wedding - it is a pity that the "Mail of Russia" forgot to give it to me on time. I love this vest-carpet, although with my appearance I have to be super careful and look for low-key combinations - the more interesting.

Retrocapore

I ordered a whole set on Amazon - very comfortable in light rain, they can be carried in pockets.

Duster Monki, vintage belt, adidas Gazelle sneakers

I adore Dusters - after all, they are ideally suited to our climate, when even in summer, without light outerwear, there is often no way. This is also cool because it can be worn as a dress.

Beyond Retro blouse, Levi's Vintage skirt, Moheda clogs

The skirt was bought in the period of the same passion for vintage denim, and the blouse has the perfect oriental print - I really like swallows. Swedish clogs are my favorite shoes. This is a heritage that will always be in fashion, and handmade and natural materials only add value to them.

COS dress, Monki skirt, adidas Gazelle sneakers

This skirt is of interest even to people who have seen the appearance of clothes - in fact it is a half-sleeve shirt with elastic, so the variations with it are endless. This combination of my favorite lately is that there is no need for heat in it.

Rings of the Greek and Swedish masters

I started collecting my small collection of jewelry a couple of years ago, when I realized that natural metals now cost as much as jewelry. I like how natural materials wear out over time: all my rings are crooked and ridiculous - from the socks and from contact with the body they are constantly changing, as if they were alive.

Rings and earrings Liza Zhitskaya, rings from Greece

I am a fan of the works of the Moscow jeweler Liza Zhitskaya - they remind me of Khalisi jewelry from the Game of Thrones. Inspire confidence and inspire.

Chains and hoop earrings no name, harmony bead from Sweden

I really love the chains: it's cool that you can come even to the most foolish jewelry and find this elegant and unobtrusive jewelry. Harmony ball, as it turned out, are mostly pregnant and lactating mothers, but the bell inside me is soothed by no less. In Gothenburg, where I often fly on business trips, there is a super store, where even with the current rate of three thousand rubles you can buy a bunch of minimalist silver jewelry. I run there, even if between meetings time is half an hour.

Box HAY x COS, family chain, vintage ring and earring from Tel Aviv

I remember hoping that in Tel Aviv, as in Greece, I would be able to buy myself a bunch of cool decorations, but I had enough money only for a micro-merge! Ah, Tel Aviv. The chain gave my dad to mom for a wedding more than forty years ago, I carry it with pride.

Demeter and Serge Lutens Eau de Toilette

We share all perfumery with husband Dima - I do not believe in the separation of fragrances into male and female. If you like - what's the difference what color the bottle.

Bags from Greece, Lee, H & M, Monki string bag

I have not yet found a bag of dreams, so I go either with babies or with string bags and backpacks. On a string bag there is a photo of our cat Ruby, and this is a very funny story. A year ago, our designers asked to send photos of their favorites - I remember that I reacted manically quickly, and, apparently, this fact was appreciated. I am a real cat lady and now (even too much) proud of our cat.
