Kristina Gorina is one of the few Russian designers who, perhaps, is known abroad abroad more than at home. She was born in Surgut, studied in Petersburg, and now lives and works in Paris. After graduating from two Paris schools - Esmod and Duperré - for several years, Christina worked and trained at Lutz and Anne-Valerie Hash. But she wanted to do everything at once, to make decisions at all stages of creating things: from choosing a topic, material and techniques to the layout and packaging of an order. That is why Christina created her own brand two years ago. The first collection of Kristina Gorina came out in the midst of the crisis, and, according to the designer (and considering the fact that the brand still exists), turned out to be commercially successful.

Clothing Kristina Gorina does not carry a national subtext: according to her it is impossible to say whether she is French or Russian. And Christine herself does not believe that geographical determinism is a determining factor in the creation of things.

In Moscow, the Kristina Gorina brand is sold only in Leform. Clothes of the Russian designer can also be bought in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Paris and St. Petersburg.

Christina's comment for Look At Me:

"For me, clean lines in silhouette are important, without unnecessary details and designs. All the small items, such as pockets and zippers, I try to hide inside the product. I always have a lot of draperies, collars, built-in scarves and belted coats. The most important thing for me is a timeless style and clothes that can easily mix with any other. The choice of materials is one of the most important moments. Flowing soft jersey from angora, silk, viscose are underlined by strict heavy lines of wool or leather. From the very beginning, I have been working with several Japanese and Italian manufacturers who are creating completely new fabrics from natural fibers. With each new collection I try to tell a story, being inspired by the images of nomads and wanderers of the streets. I would like to add beauty to everyday gestures with my clothes. "
