About filming and making yourself
I'm from Moscow, I study for the fourth year in GITIS in the workshop of Kamenkovich and Krymov. Before I got into acting, I wanted to be a doctor, I entered a medical room. How did I do? Well, somehow I did, so the card went down - I was not going to learn to be an actress. The series "This is me" the guys started shooting in the summer, when my friend and I finished the second course - and on December 17th we already have a third season premiere. It must be the most dramatic.
I want clothes and makeup in the first place to give me pleasure, to make them fun, otherwise I don’t see any sense in them. But one hundred percent self-acceptance seems to me a dubious idea. There are the parameters of "happiness" set by society that you need to fit into: accept yourself as you can, but only within this framework. In our series, by the way, this topic rises. Once I was worried that in the frame I had a plump face and a fold in my stomach, which the author of the script, Lisa Simbirskaya, complained about. She replied that our show of self-love: "If you have a crease on your stomach, it is, on the contrary, cool!" Then I thought that if there were more people in the movie who are not afraid to look outside the box, it would be easier for all of us to live. I want to see a lot of wrinkles in my stomach!
About school and beauty standards
I have a peculiar relationship with cosmetics. When I was studying in my penultimate school, the girls in the seventh class began to wear makeup, wear heels and adult bags. I didn’t have this, but since everything was done, I understood that I would soon have to follow their example. At the same time, the school had a uniform that I didn’t like and didn’t wear: it wasn’t that I protested, it was just boring — because of that I had big problems with teachers. I did not understand why, when I put on some other clothes, they start insulting me - but when everyone paints despite the ban, no one is indignant. I still consider it a wild tradition to force children to wear the same clothes, because here it is - the beginning of the imposed standardization.
I will tell a story with which, in fact, my problems began in perceiving myself. Mom bought me a few blouses - free, but not tight. The teacher looked at me and joked that I came to school in my pajamas — she called me "pajama." After that, the whole class began to call me that. It seems to be not insulting, but I still do not understand what the problem is to go out in my pajamas. They joked about it so much that I began to think that something was wrong with me. Then I went to school, where I managed to forget about the standards of beauty until the eleventh grade. We with friends and friends then liked the movie "House of the Sun", we tried to copy the style of the characters and looked like hippies - it was great because it was our own choice.
About make-up
I have never had acne, no matter how much they promised me, and I don’t wear tonal tools. The only thing I paint often is eyebrows, and everything else is rare, but accurate. I love glitter, bright lipstick - if it's funny, then it's super! You can use lipstick on the eyes, you can use lip liner with eyeliner or draw moles. Sometimes, however, it blocks me, and I want to go back to school, be that girl from the seventh grade, make up my lips and impose a tone.
I do not like to be painted so that the make-up interferes with touching the face: it is convenient for me when everything can be easily corrected or changed. I do not draw arrows, but I like to sum up my eyes in white, red or blue. I love rhinestones and false eyelashes. If during the shootings or some projects I am painted according to my choice, I will definitely want all the brightest things that I can’t do myself, sometimes it's very fun. And I myself can make up funny and ridiculous, and the more absurd, the better. I think it is very useful to allow yourself to be funny and not be afraid that others will laugh. Let them laugh rather than cry.
