20 summer fashion events

We continue to talk about the heroes and events that will make this summer a little better. The next three months are a low season for the fashion industry. Perhaps the main phenomenon here is long-running sales, which start abroad and end in late Russian stores. But we will always find what it is worth looking at, be it fashion weeks with the most awaited shows, collaborations of designers with a mass market or new exhibitions. In this compilation - what will please us Ashish Gupta, Monki, Farrell Williams, RuArts, Annie Leibovitz, “Tsvetnoy” and others in the very near future.

Trade shows and fashion weeks

We have already told how fashion is formed for men and what role Pitti Uomo plays in this - the largest clothing exhibition twice a year in sunny Florence. SS 2015 collections will be shown here in a week. The new season will determine not only fashion trends that will promote all modern dandies, but also proclaim a new favorite game - ping-pong, which is devoted to the upcoming trade show. To the exhibition, thousands of brands that will showcase their collections in Fortezza da Basso, will add special shows and presentations that have always been famous for the Pitti Uomo. So, Z Zegna will be shown here, headed by the former creative director of YSL Stefano Pilati. Bonus - a series of events with brands like Salvatore Ferragamo and Ermanno Scervino in honor of the 60th anniversary of Italian fashion.

Men's fashion weeks

June 15-29

Following the Pitti Uomo trade show, men's fashion weeks begin. These are the same endless cycles of shows that women’s weeks. We are especially looking forward to the first London Collections: Men, where our compatriot Tigran Avetisyan is to appear, as well as a dozen new names will appear, if only through initiatives like MAN - a group show of the Fashion East organization. Then everything is as before: Milan Fashion Week with Gucci and Prada and Paris Fashion Week with Givenchy and Lanvin.

Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week

July 6-11

The most entertaining for women will be Paris Fashion Week. Couture seems to take on new forms: remember the show of traditional Chanel and Dior with sneakers - it is interesting not only for collectors to follow it. Each season this week is expected to be revived and returned, so, last season Schiaparelli and Viktor & Rolf returned. This time from the ashes will rise from haute couture Azzaro. The favorite of Dalida and Sophia Loren, Loris Azzaro left our world in 2003, and since then his house has been thrown from side to side. Now the responsibility for the revival lies on the shoulders of the duo Arno Mylar and Avar Castaillon. They have already shown a good cruise line, so there is definitely hope. Of the other high expectations - the show Ulyana Sergeenko.
