Trend: Kitten heels

The era of dizzying heels has come to an end: on the catwalks - the dominance of heels of medium height.

Kitten heels are neat shoes with a small heel, not less than 3.5 and not more than 5 centimeters high.

A small heel for a long time did not enjoy a special honor: Miuccia Prada as a designer, far from conventions, was one of the few who in the past twenty years almost every season created several pairs of shoes with low heels. All the rest did shoes, as if competing - who is higher? But it seems that now the cult of killer heels is gradually coming to its logical conclusion.

After the prolonged domination of ballet shoes and it-shoes on the platform, which often reached a height dangerous for life, the summer shows were perceived by many as a breath of fresh air. After the show, Louis Vuitton, Marni and Missoni, where the main emphasis was placed on the kitten heels, fashion editors like Katie Grant from Love and Giovanna Battaglia from L'Uomo Vogue were the first to adopt this trend. To say that the popularity of such shoes will gain momentum, while it is too early - the descent from Balenciaga and Rodarte studs was too fast. But the fact that these shoes are no longer associated with old women is an indisputable fact.
