IN RUBRIC "IN BOOKMARKS" We talk about websites and online services - both useful and completely useless, but funny and amazing - which, in fact, should be added to favorites or added to the RSS-feed.

Modern love

So much has already been said about love that it is incredibly difficult to invent something new. Nevertheless, some succeed: for example, "Modern Love" - the famous section of The New York Times, which publishes an essay about love. These honest columns tell, not only how people find each other and build relationships, but also how couples break up; there are stories about death, loss, self-love, sex, one-night study of your sexuality, one-night relationship and much more. One of them, "In The New Year, More Cuddling", for example, talks about how the heroine went to a party where people embrace - and how this experience (by the way, not the best) helped her rethink the attitude to herself and overcome fear of closeness.

The newspaper publishes the podcast of the same name - unlike the materials of The New York Times, access to it is completely free: you can listen online, or you can - through apps on iOS or Google Play. The columns "Modern Love" are read by actresses and actors (one of the latest releases, for example, with Uma Thurman) - and then the creators of the program discuss with the authors of the essay how their lives have changed after the release of the material. The podcast releases have recently passed over a hundred, and if you don’t know how to approach them, you can start, for example, with the anniversary one, where readers tell them which stories they particularly liked.
