Architect Valentina Newborn about favorite outfits

FOR RUBBER "WARDROBE" we take pictures of beautiful, original or strangely dressed people in their favorite things and ask them to tell related stories. This week, our heroine is the architect Valentina Newborn.

I am very sensitive to the choice of clothes: it is very important for me that it is practical and comfortable. If I liked a thing, then I can wear it almost throughout life. I love sneakers for convenience - I always have two pairs: black and white. I often take men's things, as I feel comfortable in them. Most of the wardrobe was purchased on trips, at flea markets, in vintage stores and from Russian designers. I like to dangle on second-order - there you can always find an excellent shirt, sweater or something from outerwear. I am skeptical about purchases over the Internet, since it is impossible to predict how the model will sit down.

COS coat, H & M hat, pants & Other Stories, vintage shoes

A simple and versatile coat that fits perfectly for any outfit and warms in a cold autumn. Black hat from H & M - there should be at least two such, since one alone is always lost. Trousers with a straight silhouette with large backs, for which I liked them. I found varnished shoes in a Berlin vintage shop. Powerful sole, stitching on the nose - look very rough and resemble the shoes of my father's youth.

Vintage Pajamas and Boots

Unknown brand satin pajamas purchased in second-hand in Vic, near Barcelona. In such a nice wake up and go for a walk along the beach.

Coats, turtleneck and second-hand jeans, vintage shoes

The leather coat looks aggressive, but it’s not scary to be on the street at night. I can wear it on the way out. Turtleneck - a universal thing for every day. Italian jeans were bought in Spain in a vintage shop near the MACBA Museum. Perfect color, length and high waist.

Jacket "mouth to mouth"

The quilted jacket is completely made of local materials, which is very nice. Good in cool weather and goes well with any images.

Sweater, second-hand trousers, vintage shoes

The sweater is also from second-hand. At first I liked its color, and then the strange inscription. The sweater has a beautiful knitting and an interesting cut. Pants unknown brand bought in a vintage shop in Barcelona. I love them very much for the way they are tailored and for the comfortable satin from which they are sewn.

Zara dress

Any girl should have a black dress for a special occasion in which you can go on a date or to the theater. It looks great, despite the fact that I bought it in a regular stock store. Very discreet front and open rear.

Les Dress, Nike Sneakers

Light blue cape dress made of Russian brand weightless mesh. I wear over overalls, tops and jeans.

Bomber unknown brand

A bomber must be in everyone; this one is my boyfriend. I fell in love with this thing at first sight. I like that it is a little big.

Uniqlo dress, Mango sweater, Reebok sneakers, Circle of Unity socks

Uniqlo dress was purchased by chance. It is very light and not crushable, so is ideal for summer walks or trips to the beach. I liked the Mango sweater for an unusual neck cut and a nice pastel color. And socks from the Yauzastore store, in which many Russian designers are represented. I am not a fan of socks with prints, but these have a very cute design, and they are also white.

Muji Raincoat, Monki Dress, Reebok Sneakers

Muji is a Japanese brand that makes simple and versatile things at affordable prices. The raincoat is white and transparent, it fits well with any outfit, and is also irreplaceable in our climatic conditions. Monki knit dress is simple, but at the same time indispensable in the heat.

Vintage shirt

Favorite shirt - with a pattern of different vegetables. Purchased in the Jewish quarter of Budapest.

Found Precision Glasses

For a long time I could not find a frame that is suitable in shape and size. I accidentally stumbled upon these glasses in Berlin, and they turned out to be perfect.

Were bought in the second "Megastil". The shirt has a nice yellow color and an interesting cut - wide and short. Buying this kit, I represented walks around Tel Aviv.

Monki Top, Unknown Brand Skirt, Nike Sneakers

Top Monki I take on all trips to warm countries. It has a beautiful geometric shape, but at the same time it is as simple as possible. Nike bought black sneakers a couple of years ago in Berlin and since then I haven’t been taking them off.
