This week, our heroine is Glamor fashion director Katya Klimova. She spoke about her view of the 70s fashion, discoveries from traveling around the world and how to bargain on eBay.
As a child I wore the most ordinary things. Of the stores were only the Chinese market, the transition to Tverskaya and Kuvyr.com. My only fashion experiment was that I’ve overgrown men's corduroy pants into the most fashionable “pipes” at that time. At the age of 17, I crossed the threshold of Yes !. My work as a fashion editor influenced me a lot: you constantly see too many things and beautiful shootings. When I earned the first 100 dollars, I spent them on clothes. Then there were different relations with fashion - from the period of shopaholism to complete asceticism. As a result, I became a thoughtful buyer, weighing the pros and cons.

I could not ignore the trend in the 70s, but I did without iconic hippie things. I feel much closer to the casual style of New Yorkers of that time. The suede trench coat is the first brown thing in my wardrobe. He's perfect, like Eli McGraw in the movie "Escape." The raincoat is a little heavy, but if you like, you can wear it even as a dress. I hope someday I will tell you that I have been wearing it for twenty years. Shoes - my first Prada, rarely wear them. They look super-comfortable, but in fact the pad does not suit me.

This image is also about the 70s. Now I understand how much my work affects the wardrobe. I like to buy clothes, about which then they will ask where I found them. I am not ashamed to say that I bought something for 5 bucks, although my boss thinks that sometimes it is better to remain silent. I looked at this wicker model of the Prada bag for a year - then in Hong Kong, then in London, weighing all the pros and cons for a long time. As a result, I received it as a gift for the New Year. Thanks to girlfriends who can tell the guys what we want.

Now I have my secret points on the map of Moscow with excellent warehouses of fabrics and a small list of dressmakers who can solve various problems. Aisa, my indispensable assistant at all the shootings, introduced me to designer Alma. I really liked the jumpsuit with buttons, sewn on the scythe, from the summer collection of Céline. In the closet, this fabric in the cage was waiting for its time. Alma did an incredible, perfectly tailored dress without a single fitting. These sandals live with me for six years. Without them, nowhere. I think they need to be changed every six months, like white simple T-shirts.

The first trip to fashion weeks is the brightest and most impressive. For me, it was the spring-summer season of 2014. I experienced such vivid emotions, as if I went to Disneyland for the first time. The show of Raf Simons' collections for Christian Dior is the most anticipated each season. I still do not believe that in my Ikeev wardrobe there is a coat from the first collection, which I saw there. Most of the time I wear it like a dress, mostly with sneakers. It turns out a combination of beauty, design and comfort.

From each trip I bring one thing that serves as a memory later. The first such were Saint Laurent glasses, but I’ve already lost them. The second is the ideal men's park. Found her at a flea market in New York. I had to bargain, but I hit the price on 15 dollars. The bag brought from a vintage store in New Zealand as another great memory of one of the most beautiful trips in my life.

Until some time, trading on eBay was beyond my comprehension. But after my fellow editor Masha Chumachenko began to receive DHL packages with vintage Chanel bags, I decided to challenge the Internet. A Prada striped bag cost $ 250. I remember that I set the alarm at 5 am and in the last 15 seconds I made a bet that was three times as large as the other participants. After this, however, did not wake up so early.
