Online courses are a great way to spend winter evenings: you can learn new things while walking through a snow-covered park or lying at home on a sofa. At the end of last year, the educational project Magisteria was launched, which is still in beta mode. On the site you can find a variety of online courses, including art, literature, music and philosophy. Unlike, for example, the lectures of "Arzamas", the courses of Magisteria are more academic - for example, there is a course on Bach church music and an introduction to the philosophy of Aristotle.
“We wanted more thoroughness and study of the topics concerned, that is, to satisfy those who want to dive deeper into the study of this or that material,” Magisteria’s chief editor Andrei Boreyko told Gorky. “The key figure of each course is its author. We choose them carefully and for a long time, so we are proud of every project lecturer. Actually, the magister in Latin is a teacher, a mentor. We invite such masters to the project. "
Courses will be gradually supplemented, but some of the lectures can be heard now.
