About attitude to cosmetics
The first thing I believe in is: don't be afraid to beg for samplers. It is unlikely that once you have smeared something on your face, you can understand whether the product is suitable or not, but at least it will save you from buying items with an unpleasant smell and texture, and at the same time - from allergies. The second is client days of stamps. Sitting in the middle of a shopping center with a face smeared with something is really embarrassing (you will surely meet someone), but when you still comprehensively (and for free) learn everything about your skin and what textures and compositions should be avoided?
About care
I am a rather conservative person: if some means completely suits me, I’m unlikely to change it for something. An exception may be a prolonged absence in the store of what I used to use. In this case, most likely, I’ll lead to the design of a jar or grab some familiar tool that solves the same problem and plus or minus in the same price category. If the tool does not fit, I will give it to my mother or girlfriend and in the near future I will hardly experiment.
As a co-owner of a hair salon, I pay, perhaps, even more attention than to the skin. With care, everything is more or less clear: my head is only sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner, once a week I make a mask and according to the situation I use either thermal protection or hair oil (it can be used both during styling and left overnight as a mask). But in fact, almost the most important thing in hair health is regular cutting of the ends: because of the climate, stress and hair dryer, the hair splits and will split, and this process can only be slowed down with hairdressing scissors. I cut off a year by centimeter once a month and a half, and my hair has become 20 centimeters longer, with no dry ends, and everything fits perfectly.
About decorative cosmetics
For me, decorative cosmetics are more likely an opportunity to mask imperfections (light eyelashes and eyebrows, reddening of the skin) and emphasize advantages, than a tool for a radical transformation. Almost always makeup consists of mascara, corrector, eyebrow pencil - neatly combed eyebrows "make" the face - and blush. I use tone according to the situation; I prefer light, translucent textures. I don’t use lipsticks and shadows at all: I’m unpleasantly feeling something on my lips, and with shadows I don’t recognize myself in reflective surfaces - this is not the most pleasant feeling.
For a long time I did the manicure myself and put evenly painted nails into the concept itself, without paying much attention to the neatness of the cuticle. Over the past six months, I learned more about manicure and the very history of its occurrence as the prevention of gangrene and my priorities have changed dramatically. With a cut manicure, the entire cuticle should be cut off at a time, rather than in slices, otherwise, when it grows, it will wiggle - hardly such a thing at home. And many people in vain underestimate cuticle oil: if you do not forget to apply it two or three times a day, over time you can do a manicure every two or even three weeks.
