Slava Zaitsev: multicolored tights, neon and hats
Photographer Alexander Azarov According to the tradition of recent years, Russian Fashion Week is held at the International Trade Center. Twice a year, in addition to the usual office suits, you can watch the Moscow audience dressed up in the dust and dust in the Moscow business center. Indeed, there is such an unspoken tradition at shows in Moscow (more precisely, at the two main weeks, Russian and Moscow) - girls put on their brightest dresses (the more rhinestones, the better), make incredible styling and add accessories without a number.

Not so many guests gathered for the first show, as the 30-year experience of the designer would seem to require. Surprisingly, there were no celebrities eager to get into the frame - and it should be noted that their absence greatly smoothed the overall impression of the show. According to RFW tradition, which year Vyacheslav Zaitsev opens - by the way, he was the first in the country who started talking about the unusual fashion of some American hipsters, mentioning them in his book “Such a changeable fashion”, released in the USSR in 1980.
The Spring-Summer 2011 collection, as stated by Zaitsev himself, is not distinguished by stylistic novelty and is built taking into account the taste preferences of the clients of the House. "A certain style is dominant in my collections, especially in recent years. This is due to the growing crisis," the designer wrote in a press release to his collection, "in this regard, I defend the right to my own style, which is the basis of the Fashion House still in the 80s. Zaitsev showed a 100% expected collection. Bright colors, jacquard patterns, heavy fabrics, riches in the style of the series "Dynasty" - wide-brimmed hats, dresses inlaid with stones or stitched with gold thread. The most attractive looked trapezoid coats of pastel and variegated colors, as well as short coats and jackets, in accordance with the canons of fashion of the early 90s.
The show, which lasted for nearly 30 minutes, had a special production. There were several themes for the show (casual, evening dresses, coats, Chinese motifs, fur and men's lines), so each part of the collection was presented in its own way. The music changed, the scheme of their appearance on the podium also changed - the models came out one by one, then several, and sometimes accompanied by a satellite representing the male line. It should be noted that today the staged show is more the exception. Modern designers are trying to simplify everything and, as a rule, they only require that the model go to both ends of the podium with one stop. But Zaitsev obviously does not want to give up the habit of making the whole show out of the show. As for the male line, the Anglophile costumes in a classic Scottish cage are most memorable here.
