"There is no wrong way to be a woman," says Denise Bido, a plus-size model with Puerto Rican and Kuwaiti roots, actively promoting the idea of loving one's own body. Since childhood, Denise wanted to become an actress, and at age 18, following a dream, moved from Miami to Los Angeles. She has participated in fashion weeks in different cities of the world and shooting in advertising campaigns of Forever 21, Target, Levi's, Nordstrom, Macy's, Old Navy and Lane Bryant. In her instagram you can find not only pictures of advertising campaigns, photo reports from events and selfies without makeup, but also photos with her daughter Joslin, which Denise educates alone and calls her the main happiness of her life. The number of subscribers Deniz Bido in instagram has long exceeded two hundred thousand, and it is not surprising: she loves and accepts herself as she is, and encourages others to follow her example. “For me, beauty is happiness,” says Bido. “Nothing makes a person as beautiful as joy.”
