About micronidling, procedure, which has rapidly gained popularity in the last couple of years, we have already told you, including the fact that today it can be carried out at home. How it started

Home masks and patches impregnated with sera of very different actions are considered to be rather an entertaining segment of the cosmetic market - despite the fact that such products show some kind of effect immediately after application, it persists for a short time due to an exceptionally superficial effect. Even if a tissue or hydrogel patch is floating in a composition packed with active ingredients, the molecules of substances cannot penetrate deeper than the upper layers of the epidermis. Therefore, experts usually recommend not placing great hopes on home care, and refer to cosmetology for "serious" results: today there are many types of even non-invasive procedures, the purpose of which is precisely to deliver the contents of the cans closer to the dermis, and thus ensure healthy skin kind of longer than a couple of hours.

Meanwhile, patches with microneedles became one of the most promising medical inventions in recent years - initially they were successfully used for transdermal delivery of vaccines and drugs and the first contraceptives created on the basis of this technology were tested. The compositions may be different, but the principle is the same: on the “working” side of the patch hundreds of tiny needles are located, which, when placed on the skin, detach from the surface and penetrate directly inside. These are not needles in the literal sense, but particles of a substance that is processed to a solid state, so you should not be afraid of foreign objects - after the microneedles are in the epidermis, they will simply begin to dissolve. It is not difficult to guess that in many areas bordering medicine the technology was immediately considered ingenious, and the appearance of such patches for the skin around the eyes was a matter of time. At first they began to be made in Korea, and this year the first Russian-made microneedle patches appeared in stores.

Why do you need it

Patches for the skin around the eyes are loved by many, and some brands have even learned to make them useful - the simplest hydrogel masks are good for preparing the skin for makeup, but on the whole it is difficult to find their effect as miraculous. Despite the promises of manufacturers, bruises, swelling and wrinkles, they are able to smooth out only minimally and for a very short time, and buyers still crave for a noticeable action - and, perhaps, patches with different types of micro-needles that have appeared on the market are really capable of this.

Sensitive skin around the eyes may not require special care, but if ordinary cosmetics are irritating, and special creams and patches disappoint with their uselessness, products with microneedles should be given a chance. For example, manufacturers of Russian BLÓM patches claim that the result of using their product is equal to a mesotherapy session, and patches with hyaluronic acid Swiss Clinic is called an effective remedy for mature skin - a representative of the brand recommends applying them overnight to noticeably smooth out shallow mimic wrinkles.

Where to find them

Microneedles of microneedles are different - at least the first Korean experiments with patches have not received rave reviews, but even they show a much more obvious effect than the one that can be obtained from basic masks. These are the Russian brand Librederm: they are not very expensive, so they are suitable to try and evaluate the effect of the cosmetic news. Good reviews also received patches of Vichy hyaluronic acid, and Russian beauty experts like BLÓM patches made not by Korean patterns, but developed by Skolkovo scientists Vasily Zvezdin.

Micro-needle patches are recommended not to be used before parties (although it can be done this way), namely, with a course - in order to provide the skin with the very lasting moisturizing that can usually be obtained only after visiting a cosmetologist. Also, all those who describe the test-drive of products warn that the tingling sensation after applying patches is normal: you should not be afraid of pain, but you need to observe hygiene and clean your skin and hands before use.
