Last fall, a new course, Jewelry Design, was launched at the British Higher School of Design, and this summer its first graduates defended graduation projects. One of them is a line of Force brooches, designed not only to decorate a jacket or jumper, but to draw attention to the problem of violence against women. For designer Anastasia Kucherenko, it was important to create an ornament manifesto that speaks for itself: the Force brooches are elegant white flowers from porcelain that are “struck with metal” (silver “blades” and “wire”). “Together we are stronger than violence. We are the ones who care about,” says the project’s slogan.

So far, the line includes 6 flower brooches - from carnation to calla - on a silver pin. Any jewelry can be custom made using other precious metals. In October, Force brooches will be available on the website or on the social networks of the Kucherenko brand, as well as in the Poison Drop store. Part of the funds from the sale of jewelry will be transferred to the Sisters sexual assistance center for victims of sexual violence.
