The Devil in the details: The best art make-ups from London and Milan

At fashion weeks, everything is calm. Leaving the global trend for naturalness aside, let's stop at creative make-ups - it becomes more interesting to consider them every year. Some of them will forever remain part of the show, but often bright ideas go to the people. So, we consider in detail our favorite beauty images from the podiums of London and Milan: minimalism, bright colors, masks and a course towards a relaxed attitude to forms.

London fashion week

Ashish

At the life-affirming Ashish show, which glorified LGBT subjects, Isamaya Ffrench worked - you understand what that means. Masks were drawn on the faces of the models, both ritual and wrestling: there is still a place on the podium for a sense of humor.

Val Garland knows how to create a vivid impression, costing only one detail: the models went to the podium with smeared lipstick in shades from bright red to deep wine - the accent was further enhanced by the brilliance. This is not quite about the "kissed" lips and flirting with sexuality: the makeup was combined with an asymmetrical cut and complex forms with ruffles and ruffles in clothes. Images turned out to be alarming - in the spirit of the times.

Andrew Gallimar invented a memorable makeup to show Isa Arfen, using only concealer and shadows: the make-up of the eyes stretching to the temples, the sweeping graphics with a hint of the image of Twiggy - and in this case you can do without mascara and false eyelashes. Repeat difficult, but really want.

Ryan lo

The designer makes a reference to the aesthetics of Asian subcultures and Hello Kitty. The most amazing thing that was noticed at the show was, of course, anime hair. To ignore the makeup would be undeserved: asymmetrical "watercolor" spots on the eyes and around them, false eyelashes on the crease of the eyelid. Usually carnival anime makeup with eyes enlarged several times is associated with neat drawing - this is definitely his older brother.

Graphic arrow, located between the eyebrow and the crease of the century - and absolutely clean face. Make-up rhymes with uniforms: there were a lot of stripes and contrasting textures. However, it seems to us that such an option will fit “to everything” as well as the complete lack of makeup beloved by many designers.

We predict that make-up, similar to the one that was done at the Mulberry show, will definitely get its share of popularity. Eyes thickly brought along their natural contour, without feathering and drawing the arrows. Most of all, I remember the bright green versions: the main color of the year will not lose its charms in the fall.

Matty bovan

This year is just a holiday of masks. For the show, Matty Bovan invented a memorable minimalist form, which was repeated in different colors, from bright blue and white to swamp and dirty purple. Pay attention to the combination with hairstyles - forms, unobtrusively repeating each other, is always the way.

A little more cosmic beauty from the catwalk - at the show Central Central Martins paid a lot of attention to the eyebrows, but also in an unusual form: they are painted in dark blue color, which in combination with silver, carried throughout the century to these eyebrows, looks at least unbanal. .

Milan Fashion Week

Versace

At the Versace show, models drew wide graphic arrows blacker than night, which looked almost frightening. However, in the past weeks, many designers and makeup artists were fond of such forms. We note separately red and yellow strands in flowing hair: they echoed the colors of the dresses, complementing them. The artificiality was extremely harmonious - so that the hair can be an excellent accessory.

Another hooligan show, this time dedicated to garbage in all its manifestations. Interestingly, hair and makeup were underlined neat. The first to catch the eye was the high hair-to-hair hairstyle in vintage style, shining with varnish. But makeup is not so simple: make-up artists drew a “nude” contour on their lips, and in front of their eyes - clear arrows. Those models with unobtrusively reinforced features really resembled portraits from old postcards.

The show, which reminded everyone that dark and bright lipstick is not only a wine-berry range, but also blue and complex pink-purple, which is also far from natural. For the Marco De Vincenzo show, some models have drawn wide arrows to match lips - mono makeup is still in high esteem.

Gucci

On the shows of this brand always make beauty images in which there is something to see. At this time, the most interesting make-up was done using crystals that were glued to the eyebrows, lips and eyes - in large quantities, creating clear forms.

Does anyone need just “Smokey” in 2017? At the show, Alberta Ferretti was also considered to be not, and a bright red accent in the center of the century and a golden metallic in the inner corner of the eye were added to the usual smoky feathering - the colors of the makeup repeated the main motives of the collection. Strictly and relaxed, traditional and modern - and all in one beauty image.

Another makeup mask option - so translucent, with a slight blending of borders - was noticed at the Francesco Scognamiglio show. A similar make-up was done on the Annakiki show: perhaps it is too early to announce the trend, but it’s worth taking a note.

Emilio pucci

At this show, another make-up with a single bright accent was demonstrated - and these were our favorite colored eyelashes. Glued and infinitely long green, neon-orange and purple impressed many. We hope that they will be remembered in the coming autumn.
