Color ink - super. Even the conservative luxury brands, Dior, Chanel, Estée Lauder and even Giorgio Armani, were still not convinced of this in turn. In contrast, YSL has always seen in tinted carcasses the opportunity to diversify daily makeup, but, as a rule, they produced complex dark shades: bottle green, plum, ink blue and all that. But Isamah Ffrench has recently become YSL's creative makeup director, and the brand has started, as they say, a new life.
Its first notable contribution is the YSL Mascara Vinyl Couture colored mascara line, which will appear in Russia in the fall. Novelty promises to give lashes volume, length, bend - and, of course, color. However, two of the nine carcasses are topcoats that can be applied to any other mascara to give it a golden or silver shine. Interestingly, the brand offers to relax and not to do colored eyelashes with a single accent in make-up, and not to be afraid to combine several shades. In general, thanks to Isamae for our happy youth (which is a state of mind).
