Model and stylist Eugene Kashtan about favorite outfits

FOR RUBBER "WARDROBE" we take pictures of beautiful, original or strangely dressed people in their favorite things and ask them to tell related stories. This week, our heroine is a model, stylist and founder of the vintage Kashtan store, Evgenia Kashtan.

My taste was forming under the influence of parents who always dressed - and dressed us with my brother - in the fashion of their youth. Houses were surely the magazines of the Burda Moden of the 80s-90s, according to the patterns of which the mother sewed things. There were models with a high waist, lowered shoulder line, oversized size - partly my current preferences are associated with nostalgia for childhood.

As a teenager, I dressed like everyone else at school, then I didn’t have a single drop of personality. At seventeen I enrolled in an art school and met with local dandies there. We could wear long skirts, weird sweaters, old-fashioned flannel shirts. Then everyone did not care at all what shoes you were in, but over time I began to pay more attention to it. So, almost all of my money was spent on the purchase of the recently released adidas, Nike and Martins models.

I never liked ordering clothes online, I need to measure everything. To get to my wardrobe, the thing must be unusual. Recently, comfort has become important to me, so I began to give preference to natural materials.

Dad gave this sweater to mom for my birthday. He passed on to me by inheritance, and I am very much on his coast - still as new, although my age mate. It's amazing what quality the things of that time were.

I like that this fur coat is so voluminous. When I don, people often come up to me on the street to make a compliment. I found it in the second: I believe that in second-hand you can always dig out something worthwhile, although I myself try not to get carried away by them much.
