Like many in this categoryin childhood my mother and aunt were my role models. Mom was the only one in the city who wore boots, Cossacks and sheepskin coats — she had access to clothes from Eastern Europe, which was then the ultimate dream. The aunt made a round-the-world trip on the ship several times and looked like a movie star in her leather miniskirts and platform shoes. She always brought presents from trips to my dad, who by the standards of the 80s also had an impressive wardrobe - with eccentric flares, jeans and leather raincoats. Their photos of those years still inspire me when I buy clothes.

In the strength of the profession, I am immersed in a fashionable context, so it is necessary to appear some microtrend, as I already run to the flea markets and online stores - this is necessary for work. At the same time I am resting on myself: since my teenage age was in the two thousandth, this decade still affects my taste. I do not like sleek bows that bloggers copy - there is no life in them. I like carelessness and incompleteness so that the eye has something to catch on. Often, even in the most expensive things, artificiality is noticeable, which damages individuality.

Zara Suit, Arte Antwerp Scarf

I have been restraining myself for a long time and do not spontaneously buy clothes in the mass market - I prefer second hand and flea markets. For ethical reasons, I try not to support overproduction - but in search of a suit for every day I found this Zara with tags on Avito. It was completely new and cost two times less than on the site. I wear a scarf Arte Antwerp, bought in Belgium. I discovered there many young promising brands.

JW Anderson Earrings

Overalls Galeries Lafayette x Marine Serre, Dries Van Noten sandals

The jumpsuit is the result of the collaboration of the Lafayette Gallery with a very cool Marine Serre brand. I wear it on my own exclusively on instagram: there was no reason or place in life where it would look relevant. Perhaps with a jacket Helmut Lang and jeans Y / Project he has a chance to exit.

I hope someday I will learn to walk in these sandals - while it is not very comfortable, but beautiful.

Helmut Lang jacket, Galeries Lafayette x Marine Serre jumpsuit, Y / Project jeans, Vagabond booties, nice glasses

I bought a jacket by accident: somehow, on the way home, I went to the commission shop at Belorusskaya, where I spent two hours and found this thing among boring everyday dresses. Points - from the antique market in Nice. After watching "American Crime History" I looked for just such - and I was lucky.

Versace Vintage Bag, Saintmade Chains

Trench Topshop, Cossacks from the flea market in Brussels, earrings JW Anderson

Trench Topshop - the most indispensable thing to travel: it will save even the bow of sneakers and sweatpants. For some reason, when I collect things for shooting at TsUM, I get a lot of compliments and questions, where to buy the same one - usually everyone thinks that this is a Walk of Shame. In the summer I wear it with a dress in a linen style. Earrings bought for a fee in memory of the shooting.

Walk of Shame coat, Burberry jacket, Roccobarocco skirt, MM6 Maison Margiela ankle boots, JW Anderson bag

I love the cut of this coat: Walk of Shame is the only Russian brand from which you want to buy just about everything. Favorite thing in the wardrobe - Burberry jacket with flea market in Brussels. The skirt of the Italian brand Roccobarocco, popular in the 2000s, cost me three euros on the Milan market. I was just struck by her pattern.

Ankle boots found during "black friday". Bag bribed buckle-piercing - as I saw this thing, I immediately realized that I needed it.

Yves Saint Laurent shirt, vintage pants

Shirt bought everything in the same commission shop on the "Belarusian". Satin trousers - from vintage Bivio store in Milan. I bought because of the similarity of the fabric with materials from the early collections of Alexander McQueen.

Dries van Noten Dress, Costume National Treads

For a while I lived in Belgium and imbued with local designers - I watched movies and studied the archives at the fashion museum. Immediately after the release of the documentary on Dries, I learned about sample sales at port warehouses - this is a very cool sale format, where the price tag starts with fifty euros. The dress was several sizes larger than necessary, but I could not leave without it. Although put on once, I am glad to purchase so far.

Jacket from a second-hand, MM6 Maison Margiela dressing gown, Cossacks from a flea market

Things most often come to me from traveling in Europe. In addition to flea market and second-hand, I like to study the main department stores and concept stores of the city - there you can always find something that is not in Russia, and save a lot on tax-free and price difference.

Second-hand jacket in Petersburg, skirt and glasses - from second-hand in Kiev, Celine shoes, MM6 Maison Margiela necklace

When traveling, I always first of all find out the situation with flea markets and vintages in order to go to museums and flea markets one by one. Often it helps to better study the history of fashion and discover new names for themselves.

Top dress of unknown brand, jeans Y / Project, earrings from Milan, chain and belt Saintmade

I bought a top dress for the shoot and kept it for myself - it looks like Helmut Lang, but for a thousand rubles. For jeans, Y / Project returned on a tip from a friend on the third day of the sale - I don’t know if I can wear them in Moscow: a test drive showed that people are not ready for this yet.
