Video of the day: Singing Vulvas in Libresse Ads

EVERY DAY ON THE INTERNET SOMETHING IS GOING ON: someone releases clips, someone launches hashtags, someone says smart (or not so) things - and we focus on the most curious.

In social networks they discuss the new Libresse video (if you subscribe to our telegram channel, then you probably have already seen it), which is called "Viva La Vulva": this is literally an ode to the vulvam of various shapes and sizes - they are shown in the video using effective costumes, rag dolls, embroidery, origami, drawings, as well as images of creatures and objects resembling the outlines of the female genitalia. In the frame for Camill Yarbrough composition, sea shells, oysters, papaya, satin wallets, mineral cuts, balloons and lemons appear - and they all sing along to the song, which in this context turns into a hymn to the natural beauty and diversity of vulva. Before the start of the campaign, the brand conducted a survey - it turned out that 44% of women are unhappy with the way their vulva looks or smells. The purpose of "Viva La Vulva" is to tell you that the vulva can be very different, and women have nothing to be ashamed of.

Libresse is not the first to advocate for de-stigmatization of female physiology: last year the same brand (in some countries it is known as Bodyform) launched the first advertisement for pads without a blue liquid - in the video #bloodnormal ("Blood is normal") showed a woman in the shower, which begins to bleed, as well as the man who buys the pads.
