From classic shoes to Cossacks: 30 pairs of shoes for autumn
Text: Tanya Reshetnik
Cold inevitably come - it's time to admit that a favorite pair of mules or mesh sneakers will help out for a week or two, after which they will have to find a replacement. We are sure that your favorite pair of strong shoes has been waiting for you in the closet for a long time, but this does not prevent us from thinking out a few more options for cool weather. We tell what to look at in stores.
Ankle Socks
Considering the weather of the last months, it was possible to wear ankle socks in the summer. For dry and cool days, the same bright Lurex shoes are suitable, but for rainy days it is better to choose thick models of multi-layer polyester (as, for example, in Zara). The main thing to check in advance with the weather forecast and not to risk: a real shower will survive except that a pair of waterproof plastic.
The most versatile - plain boots of calm colors - can be easily worn with your favorite trench and with loose cropped trousers. For lovers of bright accents, ultramarine, pink and sparkling models are in Monki, Topshop and on ASOS.
Cossacks
A good pair of leather Cossacks will not fail in the autumn slush and bad weather. In fact, the Cossacks never went out of fashion: the designers with an enviable constancy demonstrated them at the shows. But this fall, "cowboy shoes" has become a real substitute for the usual shoe. What is valuable - Cossacks get along well with the trend for office style. Try to pick up a suede pair for a checkered two, or boldly wear Cossacks with a trench coat and a light blouse.
Men's classic shoes
Nobody has canceled the classic either: neat men's-style shoes are the most logical continuation of the office-style look that designers have so fallen in love with this fall. We recommend looking at simple models made of leather or lacquered and not regret for a new purchase of money: these shoes are the same thing for centuries, which will be relevant in ten years.
Rough high boots
The same pair that will help out in the pouring rain - rough lace-up boots are good because they easily withstand all weather conditions. Now such shoes can be worn with a tuxedo dress and a trench coat (as Theory designers advise), and closer to winter, with a pair of woolen socks and a voluminous down jacket. Look more carefully for models like Robert Clergerie or The Row, inexpensive shoes for a couple of seasons in the mass market, and unkillable classics in Dr. Martens (the brand just acquired a separate store in the Moscow Atrium).
Massive-soled shoes
Another craze for designers - and again just for Moscow bad weather. Massive sole - salvation for those who are not accustomed to carefully care for shoes, or even in the fall can not refuse suede. Due to the platform there is a chance that the reagents and moisture of such shoes will not be so terrible.
Treads
Treads do not lose their popularity - in the new season, designers only rethought the familiar silhouette. Now it’s a model with a gathered top, low heel, glass and top of patent leather. Suede boots, stockings, too, have not gone away - and now for them the most suitable weather. If you want to make a pair for every day, pay attention to leather monophonic models on a small heel or a flat sole. For parties and outlets - options a la denim or completely transparent Yeezy.
Shoes with rings
The massive rings with which designers decorated bags, clothes and accessories are the most noticeable trend of the past summer and the coming autumn. If you already have a geometric jewelry or a bag with a ring, it's time to look at ankle boots and piercing shoes. Laconic, but not dull shoes will be an appropriate addition to the bulk of outerwear, fluffy sweaters, loose pants and other cozy and simple things that most want to wear in the fall.
Metallic leather shoes
It is easy to see that the bright Lurex and suede crowding another catchy material - metallic leather. Silver, gold and copper boots or boots will easily refresh your casual look. If you doubt that such a thing will take root in the wardrobe, make a bet on the usual silhouette - for example, choose neat Cossacks without unnecessary details, but in a muted golden color.
High top sneakers and sneakers
Sneakers and sneakers, which have long become the basic items of everyday wardrobe, added in height in the autumn. Standard high models have always produced Converse and Vans, they are echoed by the mass market - Zara and H & M have concise versions without lacing. High sneakers can easily be found in sports brands such as Nike and adidas, but we suggest looking at the warmed versions of Diemme or Joshua Sanders.
Shoes with a geometric heel
Replaced by mules "on the ball" and shoes on a very low heel came massive shoes with no less fancy soles. Designers supposedly compete with each other, releasing ankle boots with either a beveled heel (the most obvious trend), then with a heel-screw, then with an expanding downwards. Due to the moderate height, all such models are comfortable to wear and will definitely not get bored after a couple of weeks.
