The main thing in the Trager Delaney collections is a combination of timeless design and almost perfect quality - both in fabrics and in cut. Mark was created by Briton Kim Trager (The Telegraph writes that he has a Tolstoyan beard) and Danish Lowell Delaney. They take as a basis for collections rather classic things - slightly voluminous costumes, floor-length dresses and basic one-button coats. Trager and Delaney met at Central Saint Martins College at the knitwear department. After training, the duo worked at Céline, Haider Ackermann and Sonia Rykiel, and a year ago decided to create a name brand. Since then, the mix of British and Parisian styles in their collections has been admired by Elle, Business of Fashion and Vogue, and the clothing of designers began to be sold by Matchesfashion online store, known for its strict attitude to young brands, where you can buy more giants Balenciaga, MMM and Valentino. We didn’t really want to design clothes. Rather, looking for ways to come up with design objects that will look very beautiful and make you think. Before launching the brand, we interned and it was then that we understood how much we would need to work to build a business, and we also learned how to be nice with everyone and organize our time. We create clothes for a modern urban woman, she goes forward, and her clothes must match that. We think that now women need functional clothes, they need to treat luxury properly, and not follow some trends. We are inspired by everything from Scientology to the beaches of Mallorca.
