Knitted total bow: Dress in knit from head to toe

How it all began
Knitwear and knitting exist out of fashion for more than one century. In 1913, Coco Chanel introduced the knitwear to the everyday women's fashion: in her first store in Deauville, she presented things from jersey - the material that was used in the production of men's clothes. Following her in 1927, Elsa Schiaparelli presented black knitted pullovers with geometric patterns from bow to skull. So she made a revolution in fashion, and sweaters became a bestseller in America. In the 30s, thanks to Pringle of Scotland advertising campaigns, the knit deuce came into fashion: a round-neck top and a buttoned cardigan, in the same color and weave.
In wartime, knitting and wool helped people out when the production of factories was suspended. In the 60s, Mary Count worked with the idea of knitted things as fashionable for a young consumer. However, the special popularity of knitwear and knitting acquired in the 70s. Exactly when in the late 60s a new name appeared in fashion - the queen of knitwear Sonia Rickel. In addition to it, Scotch Bill Gibb and Californian artist Cuff Fassett experimented with hand and machine binding. In the 80s and 90s, the interest in mating disappeared: too many new and more attractive materials appeared, and knitwear began to be perceived as something ordinary and even old-fashioned.
How to wear a knitted total bow now
Knitwear has become synonymous with sweaters, cardigans and tops, as well as dresses and sweaters: we are used to seeing their combinations with jeans and other everyday clothes. However, in the autumn-winter collections of this year, knitwear has ceased to be a supplement - knitted total bows are in fashion. Brands from Stella McCartney and Alexander Wang to Céline and THE ROW introduce knitted trousers, skirts, evening dresses, leggings, sports polo and, moreover, offer to wear everything at once. Obviously, in 2014 knitwear looks best paired with knitwear. On the one hand, knitted total bow in the era of simplifying fashion and the desire for comfort - getting into the bull's eye. It is practical and elementary warm. In addition, knitted things are pleasing to the body, especially when they are made from natural wool. For example, in Uniqlo, you can find woolen pencil skirts and sweaters with Heattech warming technology. In other democratic brands, however, acrylic is more common, but this is also a lesser evil compared to polyester.
On the other hand, we see mating in the spring-summer collections of next year, and the weather has nothing to do with it. Céline shows knitted evening dresses and petticoats, Mark Jacobs' main line has knitted bras tops, Francisco Costa’s Calvin Klein has knitted midi dresses, Proenza Schouler shows knitted T-shirts, skirts, pants and dresses, Delpozo has textured art -cluster. It's not just the abolition of seasonality. Stamps work with viscous because it is eco-friendly. Knitted clothes are like raw food: knitting allows you to reduce production waste by 80%, as the trimming of threads is allowed into re-production. In addition, work with threads replaces prints and prints, and in fact one liter of water is used to paint one T-shirt. Hence the emergence of another new trend - the replacement of prints with embroidery, appliqués or knitted patterns.
BEWARE!
It must be remembered that a woolen total bow from the "knitted headset", so beloved by the older generation, is separated by one pair of leather or suede heeled boots.
