“89 degrees is almost 90, almost a right angle, such an eternal striving for perfection: the world is not perfect, like all of us,” says the founder of the eponymous brand of cookware, Alexandra Polidovets. Less than a year ago, she became interested in ceramics in order to be distracted from her main job as an architect: “When you are lepish, you can not think about anything, this is a kind of meditation.” Announced by simple things, nature and architecture, Alexander makes dishes from earthenware and white clay, sculpts everything with her own hands, without using a potter's wheel, and then she burns and we cover with food glazes. Alexandra is from Minsk, but has been living in Moscow for several years, where she is studying in the magistracy of the MARSH school. In his free time, he paints in watercolor, shoots it on film, reads books about space and sometimes beats tattoos to friends.
