Autumn shoes: 7 current brands for inspiration

September is very close - so, it's time to explore the issue of shoes for the fall. We found seven brands that make concise models for all occasions - from mules and shoes in the offseason to ankle boots, which can be safely worn before the onset of winter cold. It is worth taking a note at least for inspiration.

By far

By Far is a popular Instagram brand from Bulgaria, born in 2016 thanks to its twin sisters Valentina Bezukhanova and Sabina Zhosheva and their girlfriend, Denitsa Bumbarova, who now live between Europe and Australia. Launching the brand, the girls wanted to make affordable shoes for ages that could be worn with anything - in a word, a new classic. The customer By Far Valentine, Sabina and Doenitz are described as "a traveler who needs beautiful and comfortable shoes for all occasions" (this is of course about city walks, not expeditions to the mountains).

This description of the brand’s shoes is quite appropriate: on the website you can find suede mules (105 euros) and silk (365 euros), lace-up shoes in the spirit of Jane Birkin (415 euros), “crocodile” shoes with an open heel (360 euros), classic ankle boots (400 euros), as well as a variety of sandals that you can safely buy for the season ahead (especially now they are on sale). Production is based in Italy.

Coliac

For the Coliac brand there is a graduate of two fashionable schools at once - the Milan NABA and the Paris École Duperré - Martina Grasselli. Before starting her own brand, she worked for Christian Louboutin, Jean-Paul Gaultier and Stella McCartney. Initially, she conceived Coliac as a jewelry brand, but soon she decided not to limit herself to jewelry and began to produce shoes and clothes. The main inspiration designer calls "strong women from his family." For example, the name of the brand Coliac is the name of her grandmother of French blood, and one of the bestsellers, the Fernanda derby, decorated with pins and pearls is the name of her mother. Coliac collaborations with blogger Chiara Ferragny, as well as Tanya Taylor and Max & Co. brands.

On the brand's website you can find many interesting models - for example, shoe boots with an unusual sculpted heel (44 thousand rubles), a piercing derby (36 thousand rubles) and pearl details (40 thousand rubles), trendy mules (25 thousand rubles), boats on a steady heel and much more. You can buy products at Farfetch and in Moscow "TSUM".

Suzanne rae

The Suzanne Rae brand is originally from Brooklyn and positions itself as a brand for "progressive and modern women." Designer Suzanne Ray considers ideas of feminism as her sources of inspiration (Ray's collections bear names like I Am Not Your Seductress - “I am not your seductress”), and the principles of minimalism, “slow fashion” and “sustainability” are the basis of the brand: the company is very serious to ethical production and local jobs, so many things are created in the New York "sewing quarter". He does not forget about environmental friendliness, therefore he tries to use innovative materials and to do everything so that the amount of waste during production remains minimal.

As for the design, on the Suzanne Rae website you can find minimalistic, steady-heeled shoes ($ 375), Mary Jane pumps ($ 365), mules ($ 230) and ankle boots ($ 294) - Ray offers to wear this with a clip for shoes in the form of the Mirror of Venus ($ 150). You can buy things on the site.

Carel

The French brand Carel, perhaps, the old-timers of the market by the standards of this collection. The brand was founded in Paris in the 1950s by the wife Jorge and Rosetta Karel, he received wide popularity among female students in the heyday of the 1960s. This brand is especially appreciated also because the key models were helped by the designers to design the shoemaker Christian Dior. In the 1970s, the famous Carel collaborations with brands such as Castelbajac, Thierry Mugler, Jean-Paul Gaultier and Chloé occurred.

Today, Carel produces fashionable shoes in the spirit of the times, such as Alex Chang, Emma Roberts and blogger Adenor: for example, you can find Mary Mary shoes (from 200 euros) on the brand’s website, such as Chang, suede pumps (265 euros), patent leather shoes with a large strap (201 euros) and beautiful loafers with heels (335 euros). Neous

Neous is a brand of minimalist shoes originally from London. Harper's Bazaar stylists, founder Vanissa Antonius and graduate of the Italian fashion school Polimoda Alan Buann (formerly Nicholas Kirkwood, Peter Pilotto and Sophia Webster) produce laconic shoes for all occasions. As Buann jokes, you can safely “go to Neous even for lunch with the president, even for a sea voyage”. Designers are inspired by architecture and modern art, this can be seen in their products: today Neous produces mules with a "spherical" heel (495 pounds) and the same shoes (595 pounds) and ankle boots (760 pounds) at the junction of fashion and art, which are unlikely there is someone else.

Orchids occupy a special place in the history of the brand, and many models are named after exotic varieties for a reason: the Buanna family has been breeding these flowers for generations. Neous production is based in Italy - in the same factory as Salvatore Ferragamo, which designers are very proud of. You can buy products on the website and on Net-A-Porter.
