Photographer Anastasia Tikhonova about cosmetics and the turn of the thirtieth
FOR THE FACE "HEAD" we study the contents of beauty cases, dressing tables and cosmetic bags of girls of interest to us - and show all this to you.
About decorative cosmetics
With age, I began to be more relaxed about decorative cosmetics - probably because I'm afraid of the effect of an aging transvestite in my performance. The peculiarity of work as a photographer is that you always have friends-makeup artists, and if you really need to show off, you can rely on them. Therefore, if before the party there is an opportunity to ask the makeup artist to make me up, even with black lipstick, I will definitely use it. I don't brightly paint myself - it seems that everything goes wrong for me. Usually I only color eyebrows and eyelashes, adjust the tone and sometimes use balms that irritate the skin - I love the effect of kissed lips.
About masks
I like masks as a category of tools - this is such a good way to compensate for the damage. With my skin type, I choose anti-inflammatory and hyper-nourishing. My favorite mask of the firm Fresh is not here, because it weighs a pound and carry it with you is absolutely impossible. But it perfectly removes redness from the face. Periodically I use Korean cloth and cleansing clay. Masks are good, but, of course, they will not save if you regularly hurt yourself.
About aromas
A former young man described my fragrance preferences as "church dust." In general, this is true - only later I noticed that almost all my perfumes smell like a cemetery or church dust. The one that is not here - Serge Lutens Borneo 1834 is my favorite scent, but too heavy for summer. The second - Tom Ford Moss Breches, it stopped producing. According to legend, this happened because an Icelandic volcano with an unpredictable name destroyed the moss plantations, from which the necessary extract was obtained.
About relationships with age
When I turned thirty, a powerful psychological factor manifested itself. I began to go shopping for cosmetics and terrorize sellers with requests to enslave me — everyone wanted to find a tool that would save everything “as it is now” for another ten years. As a result, I came home with "effective" probes, put on a cream, my skin was blushing, glistening, it looked like an orange, and I ran to wash everything off, splash with thermal water and think when I let it go. In general, after a month I let go, and I came to a very simple formula: serum, light cream, plenty of water, good nutrition, douche, sleep and avoid direct sunlight. It also seems to me that it is important not to overdo it with the means and not to strive to freeze yourself in some state. Everything, in general, is in our heads, and self-awareness directly depends on our mood.
