LFW Day 6

The last sixth day of London Fashion Week was dedicated to men's fashion with shows from TopMan, Bstore, Tim Soar, Lou Dalton and Carolyn Massey.

The hottest show was the show from Man, which included not only the collection from TopMan Design, but also the creations of young East Endovans - Katie Eary, J W Anderson and Christopher Shannon. The line from fashionable men's fashion press at the Man show was impressive, and was hardly less than at the Burberry star show.

The show opened a collection of 25 year old English woman - Katie Eary. This season, Katie has released an army of "lost decadents" in furs, organza, crocodile and pigskin and human hair accessories onto the catwalk. The collection, called "Naked Lunch", was inspired by William Burroughs books "Torchok" and "Naked Breakfast" and his passion for anatomy in his works. Despite the extremely dubious "wearability", the Katie Eary show, which caused a huge storm of applause before the show ended, was definitely one of the best on the men's day of Fashion Week.

Jonathan Anderson, designer of the brand JW Anderson, was inspired by basketball uniforms in the spring / summer 2010 season, New York street-culture of 70x years and clothes of "tribal fighters" ... Almost completely black collection was diluted only with a pair of blue-fluorescent blue trousers, light cardigans and feces - national headdresses of the Eastern Mediterranean, as well as several elements of women's clothing - silk trousers and coats. Despite the relative incompatibility of sources of inspiration, the entire collection was mixed in absolutely perfect proportions. And the show itself was absolutely to the taste of the whole uh ... the first row of gay guests.

This season TopMan Design mixed up a futuristic silhouette and elements of sportswear, performing almost the entire collection in the spirit of the aesthetics of the 90s and early Helmut Lang. Almost completely made in dark colors, the “industrial” collection from TopMan combined strict formal jackets, skinny pants, bombers and knitted sweaters, along with all possible elements of sportswear. According to Gordon Richardson, the brand's chief designer, this season TopMan is becoming more sophisticated and sophisticated, acquires a high-end look. We were not inspired by anything definite, but only tried to pay more attention to the costume details of men's clothing and style, adding quite a bit of color and sporting elements. Less fuss and trifles, and more impeccability and rigor - that is what we wanted, creating a new season in TopMan Design ".
