Healthy habits of the singer Sati Kazanova

The heroine of the new release is the singer Sati Casanova, who told us about meditation, mode education and vegetarian food.

For the fifth year now I have been practicing atma kriya yoga. This is an opportunity to work with the mind, the ability to calm him down and control. And the mind, which is soothed and controlled, can do anything. For me, yoga is not just a whim and entertainment - it is part of me. That yoga, which we know as physical culture, is only a thousandth part of this vast philosophy.

Many habits that I consider useful become part of my life. In the morning I take a cold shower - it hardens and immediately awakens. Most of the time right after I do meditation, depending on how much time I have, it can be thirty minutes, an hour or a half.

Politics and religion are completely uninteresting to me - Yoga outside of them. Since March last year, I myself have been an atma kriya yoga teacher. On that day, when I learned that I had arrested a man who was just lecturing, I could not keep silent. It turns out that my activity can be recognized as a missionary. The law seems to me incomplete, as it argues with the Constitution of the Russian Federation, which proclaims the freedom of choice and religion. It is impossible to deprive a person of the opportunity to receive knowledge the way he wants and where he wants.

I do not like the gym. Twenty to forty minutes I do a set of exercises that changes: it could be yoga with Pilates, for example. Most often, my classes are based on planks - it structures the body, takes a minimum of time and gives maximum results. I start with “greeting the sun” (surya-namaskara), which warms up the body well and helps me feel energetic.

I am a vegetarian, while experimenting with a diet and try to listen to my body. I had a period when I ate a lot of various porridges on water: from quinoa, green buckwheat, chia seeds. Since summer I try to make smoothies from greens, vegetables, fruits and berries. I feel much better - the need for invigorating drinks, such as puer or coffee, just disappeared.

Lack of protein - A common problem with vegetarians. To prevent this from happening, I eat refined hemp seeds, which contain a lot of protein and important amino acids - while they are easily digested.

I am a rebel and, like many, suffer from the fact that the regime requires discipline. The only thing I force myself to joy in is my spiritual practice, meditation.

Man is so made that he loves to break bans. Therefore, I negotiate with myself: for example, if I absolutely do not want to engage in the body, then I suggest that I do some kind of exercise. I start with five minutes of classes, enter into a rage and say to myself: "See, you just had to start!" Another ten minutes, and then another - and the program at least completed.

The reward system is important. For example, I ask myself to do something, and in return I promise myself to go for a massage. The main thing is not to deceive: there was a period when I did this, and this very badly affected the whole organism.

The most healthy approach is complex. I try to pay attention to my body, but between the hour of meditation and the hour of physical activity, I will choose meditation.
