Megan Markle never hid her love for food and culinary art: she used to talk about favorite dishes and recipes in her social networks and The Tig blog, but at the wedding with Prince Harry all personal accounts had to be removed. Nevertheless, the strict rules of the royal family did not prevent Markle from finding a new use for his Fudbloger ambitions: the cooking book “Together: Our Community Cookbook”, the personal charity project of the Duchess, is about to appear.
The publication, for which Markl wrote a touching preface, collected fifty recipes from The Hubb Community Kitchen participants - a charity project that helps the former residents of the Grenfell Tower building that burned down last year to feel at home. In the common kitchen, where everyone can come, people not only cook, but also share news, make friends and find support. “I immediately became imbued with the spirit of this place,” Markle says in a video dedicated to the book’s release. “Like these women, I love to cook and sincerely believe that food can rally people.”
On the book "Together: Our Community Cookbook" you can already pre-order on Amazon. All revenues from the publication will go to work The Hubb Community Kitchen - now, due to lack of money, the space is open only two days a week.
