14 very fashionable brands that will first appear in Russia

In the fashion industry, everything is turned upside down. The consumer is getting younger, at the hearing of the names of completely new designers, and where there used to be minimalism, now excessive merchandise triumphs, and vice versa. The good news is that young, but already sensational brands now go to Russia, and we are talking about 14 of these, which will appear in stores this fall. By the way, all major Russian retailers have their own online stores, so it is no longer necessary to depend on the whims of Russian Post and customs rules.

Cecilie bahnsen

At Cecilie Bahnsen you can find mostly dresses - voluminous, flying, quilted, with many details in the form of ties, lace, appliqués and overhead collars. Behind the shoulders of the Danish designer is cooperation with Dior, John Galliano and the Royal Theater of Denmark, whose influence on the aesthetics of the brand is undoubted. The creators of Cecilie Bahnsen themselves say that they combine fashion craftsmanship, sculptural silhouettes and traditional fabrics in one collection - perhaps this is what defines the brand most precisely. The classics, rethought for the modern audience, shoots: Cecil released her debut collection in 2015 and immediately went with her to the Dover Street Market - a cult multibrand and the best starting point. Today, her clothes are presented in stores in Europe, USA, Japan, Australia and for the first time since this season - in Russia. The collection Cecilie Bahnsen promises to appear in the Aizel in the fall.

Fear of God

Jerry Lorenzo came up with a streetwear brand in 2012, but the love of hip-hop artists won shortly before that, throwing loud parties in Los Angeles. Today, his brand’s clothes are Kendrick Lamar, Future and Justin Bieber (which is not clear, plus or minus) - these are oversized merch sweatshirts, fishnet jerseys, long bomber jackets, long checkered coats, sports leggings and much more. Things convey the spirit of Los Angeles subcultural and tell about its main characters - skaters, basketball players in street venues and musicians.

The designer is experimenting with different styles of the 80s and 90s, arguing that "this is not hip-hop, not rap, not rock and not grunge, but all together." One of the obvious attributes of that era is high thick basketball sneakers, which will be presented in KM20. Lorenzo himself suggests wearing them slightly uncoupled. Clothes can also be found in SVMoscow.

Readymade

Readymade produce things only in a single copy, because they once use a real military uniform that has become unusable as a base. Designers manually process materials, retain the original inscriptions preserved on things, add interesting details and customize the silhouettes in a modern way. This way parks with stripes and appliqués and durable bags decorated with markers are made. For the designer Utah Hosokawa, his very child is endowed with deep symbolism. "The destruction of military clothing in peacetime is a signal for the cessation of all wars," he says. One of the fans of the brand is Off White creator Virgil Ablo. You need to look for it from this season in SVMoscow.

Les animaux

In LeForm brand will come from the former ward Victor & Rolf. Designer Lisa Jackson was inspired not only by the experimenter’s two brothers, but also by David Bowie’s individualistic style. Due to this, her collections are full of asymmetrical silhouettes, combinations of different materials (velvet, thick cotton, organza, leather) and the brightest colors (neon and fuchsia). Jackson creates clothes for any age - a woman in 70 "can be as bad as an ass in 20." And, according to her, the collections will not be tied to the seasons and topics that immediately become obsolete. The brand can be found tops with one sleeve, boots acid colors, transparent dresses, velvet turtlenecks, metallized pants and more.

Kwaidan Editions

Kwaidan is a Japanese horror film from 1965, which tells several philosophical stories. It was in honor of him that their designers Leia Dikli and Hang La called their brand. They advise you to look at the picture to better understand the aesthetics of the brand. It is unclear whether all the retailers watched the film, but the brand shot brightly and quickly: the debut collection was presented for the fall 2017 season and immediately hit the world's leading stores - Antonioli in Milan, The Store in Berlin, The Broken Arm in Paris and KM20 in Moscow . Designers promise to make the first two collections more understandable and simple, and as the brand develops, they will increasingly reveal their personalities to the viewer. In the autumn line are monochrome suits, bright turtlenecks, leather coat, long skirt to the floor of dense material.

rokh

Dress shirts, bombers with zippers on the shoulders, metallic trousers and asymmetrical coats - almost all are girded with different straps. The creators of the rokh brand claim that each of their products can be compared with a palimpsest - a multi-layered work of art. They also believe that all clothes should be wearable and adapted to ordinary life. Apparently, this goal and should meet the monochrome and simple silhouettes. This fall, the second collection of the brand will arrive in KM20.

NASASEASONS

The creators of NASASEASONS, who were barely 20 years old, wanted to build a business for their peers, and eventually won recognition from the most popular stars - singers Rihanna, Rita Ora and Justin Sky, stylist Ian Connor, rappers Wiz Khalifa and Tyga. The team of the brand produces caps, t-shirts and sweatshirts with the inscriptions "I Came to Break Hearts", "Almost Famous", "Who Cares ???", "Silent Madness", "Lolita", "Inferno". And the history of these slogans is simple - the designers came to parties, including high school. After all, according to NASASEASONS head Alexander Diance, "these are phrases that boys and girls want to wear in order to feel strong." The brand will appear this fall in KM20.

Kirsh

“If Nabokov’s Lolita were written today, she would certainly have chosen KIRSH clothing,” the brand was specifically described in Highsnobiety magazine. Among the models of their lookbook are teenage girls, and in the arsenal there are goose foot suits, as if made from mother's, short varnished skirts in combination with white golf, jeans and denim overalls, put on baggy sweatshirts, and everything adorns the costume jewelry in the form of cherries. The South Korean brand is inspired by the 90's American street fashion. The images seemed to have disappeared from the printed pages of that time: they can see the shooting of the model and actress Chloe Sevigny since her work in Sassy magazine and the whole scattering of film images of youth cinema. The brand has already reached the Russian Kixbox.

The ragged priest

The Essex brand The Ragged Priest has grown from an eBay vintage store that has worked since 2007. She initially focused on street style, and her commitment to vintage silhouettes is still visible. These are long-sleeved long sleeves in a black and white plaid, lacquered skirts with chains attached on the sides, flared trousers in a longitudinal strip, as if sewn from an old men's suit, and kosukhs with a pattern in the form of a flame. The brand beats the motifs of the raver of the 90s, generously complementing things with prints, slogans and generally sassy moods typical for street style - new items on the site are collected in the New Sh * t. This fall The Ragged Priest will first appear in Russia at the Kixbox store.

Pleasures

The young Los Angeles-based brand, whose collections mainly consist of basic items — T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and canvas bags — appeared this fall at Kixbox. The main thing with Pleasures is prints, from which you can put an entire encyclopedia of popular culture of the late XX century. Here and references to cult cinema like "Generation DOOM", and to the lyrics of the songs of the Joy Division, and to the quotations of the poet and musician Morrissey and the artist Richard Prince. Bold and controversial was the T-shirt with Kurt Cobain's suicide note placed on it. In principle, like everything that designers choose as prints: for example, now on the brand’s website you can find a sweatshirt with the image of a smoking baby and the repeating “Pleasures” inscription.

Ambush

In Russia, the Japanese brand Ambush has so far been represented only by decorations. We have repeatedly confessed our love to their gender-neutral line of rings, bracelets and chokers that imitate barbed wire. The time has come for the clothes - for her, Verbal rapper and his wife Yoon are inspired by the modern culture of Tokyo, pop art and street fashion. It differs concise and comfortable cut. Among the things that were brought to Russia this fall, including the Moscow Aizel, are checkered shirts, sewn as if they were tied at the waist, three-colored raincoats and hoodies.

VICTORIA / TOMAS

Designers Victoria Feldman and Thomas Bergins try to combine eccentricity in the brand named after them, as in the works of director Tim Burton, hip-hop mood and skater culture, experiments and love of art. Despite a rich set of hobbies, VICTORIA / TOMAS clothing is discreet and quite casual, but not without interesting details. So, in the autumn collection you can find an asymmetrical gray coat with an open shoulder, plaid shirts, complemented by a leather bolero, skirts made of three different materials at once, and more. According to the designers, they see such a resident of the city. This autumn, the brand promises to appear for the first time in Russia at the Moscow Central Department Store.

Twins florence

Straight lines and harmonious silhouettes are the main attributes of the Italian brand Twins Florence. Perhaps the minimalism, restraint and thoughtfulness of the details influenced the study of the designer Linda Kaluga at the University of Florence architecture. So, in her images it is difficult to notice more than three or four items of clothing. Flared or straight leather pants, Linda combines with turtlenecks and massive outerwear (sheepskin coat or coat). From the colors she chooses almost natural (sand, ocher, brown, marsh), and the materials are natural (corduroy, cotton, leather, wool). In Russia, the Twins Florence brand will be presented for the first time at the Central Department Store.

Letasca

Mark Letasca promotes convenience, creating things with a lot of pockets. A clear preference is given to men's collections - in them you can find jackets, vests, bombers and even shirts with large pockets. But for women there is a small assortment - woolen and quilted vests with zippers, sporty oversized pants and parks with large pockets on the sleeves. It will be necessary to search for the brand from this autumn at TsUM.
